There wasn't anything that we didn't actually like. Albania is a developing tourist destination so standards are different to that expected in other countries. Service in the restaurant was slow even when there were few clients. Whether you stayed 1 or 5 nights you were only allowed the same amount of coffee for the machine in the room or shampoo ! Unusual to us but maybe normal in Durres.

Spotlessly clean and spacious rooms. Excellent beds. Very good breakfast. The receptionists were really friendly and helpful. Prime location with excellent choice of restaurants nearby.

We stayed here overnight before catching a ferry to Italy the next day. This property was spacious and felt luxurious. We really enjoyed suiting out on the roomy balcony overlooking the city and the Port in the evenings. The location is great being close to the Port and lots of choices of bars and restaurants on the street below. The hotel breakfast was very nice.

The only thing I disliked, but they can't do much about it now, was the doorless shower, which meant I had to be careful while showering, otherwise the whole bathroom got wet.

Very pleasant hotel, with friendly, helpful staff. Super clean. Great noise insulation (my room looked upon the busy street). Perfect location. Comfortable bed, quiet AC. Breakfast was delicious and huge, but you have to set aside more than half an hour for it. Don't think you'll just grab some breakfast and go :))

More than 1 cup of free coffee at breakfast but just a minor quibble given the reasonable cost of B and B

A la carte breakfast-Nice change from buffet but explained that you had to pay for extra coffee which was only 1.50 euro. Receptionist was very helpful re car parking and we were able to leave car the next day till late afternoon-no charge for parking

What a fantastic place to stay at. The room was so lovely, the bed and pillows were amazing, we had the best sleep there. Great shower & bathroom. It was a 10 minute walk to the wonderful restaurants along the beach. Lots of great bars in the street that the hotel is in, including their very own. The breakfast was absolutely beautiful and so much of it. The staff were all so lovely, we could not fault the hotel at all. We stayed 3 nights, but wish we could have stayed longer.

The service was amazing. The rooms nice and quiet. Nice bath. Clean. Tasty breakfast. Massage and spa. Everything you could ask for. We did only stay there for one night and I wouldn’t start there for a summer vacation for a longer period. But for shorter stays nice :)

The location of this historic hotel is wonderful with the added bonus of a small car park at the rear. The staff were very helpful in guiding us. The rooms were lovely with a coffee maker and crisp.white sheets. Breakfast was from a menu and served in the restaurant from the menu

The hotel, in general, was spot on, and the check in is smooth and quick. The decor caught my eye prior to booking, a bit of old bit of new, lovely. I dined at the hotel 3 of the nights, all food freshly prepared and presented very well. Overall, I had a great time and hopefully return again soon.

The parking spaces were very tight and difficult to access.

Best service I've experienced. The lovely lady at the reception took the time, even assisted with parking, and was very accommodating. Cleanliness was also top-notch.
