Review Hani I Leks was the highlight of our Albania trip. We originally planned 2 nights here, but came back for 2 more after our trip in the Accursed Mountains. The location is beautiful and has great views, absolutely worth the drive (which is absolutely feasible with a normal car). The rooms are clean, spacious, modern and have a view. The food is great and you can taste that all is made by the hosts. They were very kind to accommodated our vegetarian needs. The breakfast was without doubt the best we had in Albania (where the standard is already very high!). Great food and huge portions. I will remember their Trileche dessert fondly, which I could not resist and had to eat every evening. In addition to this all, Pietro and Mrika are excellent hosts, they really know how to make you feel at home and part of the great place they run. We had a lot of fun conversations and Pietro also showed us his farm and animals - overall an unforgettable experience!

Only that they advertised a bathtub, which doesn't exist anymore and rooster noises that kinda come with this sort of accomodation.

We had the deluxe bedroom with bathtub* which was a nice little standalone building in between lots of plants and flowers. The sleeping area was roomy, the bathroom was clean with a proper shower and the area was quiet except for a rooster or two. The view was amazing, the house wine good and the breakfast was diverse with sweet and salty options rounded off with amazing cappuccino.

Beautiful restaurant and accomodation in a stunning location. The room was clean and comfortable and the hosts were very welcoming and hospitable, arranging transport home from the Farm to Table restaurant 10min down the road, and also providing a tasty breakfast.

It was the most expensive stay for us in Albania, but it was worth it. The place is beautiful, run by wonderful, hard working people. The room was very spacious and super clean and the bed was very comfy. The breakfast, which was included, was really exceptional. Don’t miss the mountain tea. We also had dinner, it was by far the best food we have had in Albania so far. All own produce, we highly recommended. Make sure you arrive early enough to enjoy the views from the restaurant terrace ;-)

A wonderful example of agritourism : lovely country location with stunning views and foods, wine and liqueurs produced and made on site. The owner was helpful & charming and rightfully proud of his restaurant and the traditional dishes the kitchen were preparing. Generosity abounds with plates piled high with fresh foods .... guest accommodation is available : all at a very reasonable price.

The host didn’t speak English but we managed on my limited Italian and we wanted for nothing.

This great spot is just far enough away from it all to enjoy the quiet nature. We had a very lovely breakfast that seemed to never end and was filled with lovely products produced on the farm. We got to even help the shepherd put the sheep in for the night.

The setting on a hill was lovely, we really enjoyed being within nature and being able to go for a lovely hike to a local 14th Century church. The staff were extremely friendly, and the food wholesome, tasty and plentiful, as is generally the case for most of Albania.

A great experience at Hani i Leks. Amazing food and breakfast in their restaurant with views of the mountain. To the food you can drink a good localy produced red wine. A big gold star to the staff! The are very friendly and help you with everything you need. The room we stayed in was very clean and had a big balcony overlooking the mountain. I recommend everyone to stay here if you want to feel relaxed, have fantastic food and an overall great experience.

Everything was perfect but if we were to mention one thing it would be the bed that was not as comfortable as we are used to.

Very pleasant stay with a magnificant view over the Lezhe valley and the mountains of south Montenegro. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Food was delicious both at dinner and breakfast with lots of local specialties. Room with ensuite and aircon was good. In the morning we made a half hour walk to a small church on the hillside further up the mountain with a tragic history.

The road from the crossroad, from the church, up the hill, is unpaved, but it is only about 1000 meters, and it is not that bad.

Very nice place for a peaceful rest during the trip through Albania. Hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fine, various domestics product, followed by the (early morning) shot of the liqueur made from cornel. Great view from the restaurant terrace. Room and the bathroom immaculately clean. All windows in the room fitted with insect nets.

The road up is not paved (but it is agrotourism), so a little challenging if you have a small vehicle -- our Volkswagon Golf did fine.

A really nice, personalized agrotourism place. Though English is limited, they are ready to figure out what you would like and provide a variety of homemade goods for you -- great honey, nice jams, good coffee, delicious pancakes, fresh eggs, tasty raki (grappa). This was our second overnight here and we would stay again next time in the area.
