Beautiful hotel, amazing traditionally ornamented rooms, fantastic (FANTASTIC) breakfast, beautiful view, great staff. Alll for a reasonable price. Quite a few steps up from the street. Worth the effort. Best hotel experience anywhere.

Small detail: shower looked nice but the hose was partly broken so the water was coming down not so pleasantly

Wonderful old stone house, very nice room with a view on the river and the old village on the other side. Great breakfast with fruit, cheese and veggies. Curated traditional decor. Street parking on the main road (beware you then have to walk uphill on the cobble streets for a few minutes!).

- one jalousie at the main window is missing so it wasn't dark enough - you hear the dogs all night but that has nothing to do with the hotel - bathroom had a certain smell

If climbing stairs are difficult for guests, then this might not be the hotel for you. That is the only drawback that this hotel has. But many of the hotels in the old city require some climbing of stairs!

Hani, the owner, was an exceptional host. He made delicious breakfasts each morning. There was so much food and a great variety as well. The hotel only has 4 rooms, so the quality of personal service is excellent. The 400 year old building is well renovated and tastefully decorated. All the bathroom amenities are provided. The wifi is strong. The hotel is located in the old city, up 68 cobblestone steps from the main road. The walk-up to the steps is rewarded by the wonderful hotel and hospitality of Hani. There are 2 parking spots reserved on the street for the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel!

Position - the view is breathtaking. The hotel is in a beautiful old building with the original features in tact. The breakfast is excellent and extensive - you’d be hard pushed to finish it! The owners are kind and thoughtful- offered to collect us from the castle as it was raining. They also respond promptly to any queries. Parking is clearly marked.

Location was good . The room was authentic , bed was comfortable, room was super clean and all the toiletries were supplied in the room. Towels and beddings were clean and ironed. Spectacular views of the room itself good. They have a beautiful balcony for the breakfast and to relax and enjoy the river and the opposite of the Riverside has beautiful old traditional houses to watch. The staff were so nice. And we met the male owner whom was so nice and can speak English. Communication was good. The breakfast is something that I can not say enough how generous and tasty it was 😋. Enjoyed the every bit of the breakfast. Thanks again from here . Definitely will be back to stay in this hotel.

Fantastic owner, who was really caring and helpful. The room wasn't big, but with a stunning view and balcony. Very large and tasty breakfasts served by the owner on the terrace. Welcome wine and homemade raki were really tasty. Thank you!

Everything was great!

Beautiful little hotel/guesthouse in the center of the historic village with incredible views! Our room was very nicely decorated, and the view from the balcony was spectacular. The breakfast, like everywhere in Albania, was enormous and delicious! Also, the breakfast was served on a patio overlooking the historic city. The hotel is not so tricky or difficult to find, there are signs to help you out, and there are lots of restaurants, bars, shops and cafés nearby.
