Great location great stuff!

I only wish the room we booked had more windows since it’s the window city but we booked last minute so it was the only one available. It still had a lot of character and if you book earlier it looks like the other rooms are even more unique!

The location was excellent (up the street from bus to main bus terminal & on same street up to castle near everything). The owner was so kind and helpful, even called me on wattsapp and found us on the street to help carry my luggage on arrival. The room and property are completely renovated and updated with beautiful local wood craftsmanship on the ceiling, new super comfortable bed (best I had in Albania), nice artwork, efficient use of space with two luggage racks built into the wall, new AC, and strong clean hot shower. The breakfast was delicious and a great view of the old town neighborhoods and castle out on a balcony. It included the typical Albanian breakfast of eggs, cucumber, tomatoes, cheese, coffee, but also included fresh fruit, fig jam, yummy fresh bread, and mountain tea. We enjoyed our stay at this property. It was a great value. It was also nice and quiet and we slept very well. Thank you! Falamenderit! 🙏 we loved our stay!

A little tricky to find and park, but great location

We really enjoyed our stay at the Master Hotel. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful and went out of their way to help us when one of us was unwell. The location is ideal in Berat. It is very central and the castle and the bridge and the bus stop are not far away. We really liked our room with a little balcony with a table and chairs and a view of the city. The breakfasts are delicious and are enjoyed on a balcony with good views.

We loved our stay at Master Hotel! The owners went out of their way to make sure we had a great stay and the room was beautiful. A highlight was the breakfast on the terrace, it was delicious and the owner just kept bringing us more food! The location is also really good - super close to the best view points and restaurants. If we returned to Berat, we'd 100% stay here again.

Excellent location at the bottom of the hill for when visiting the castle but also well located for river and other parts of town, good value for money, lovely terrace for breakfast. The host was very attentive and excellent at communicating through booking.com in advance of the stay. Breakfast was included which was delicious.

The hospitality of the owners was exceptional. The hotel has recently undergone a traditional renovation, with all the wood used for the renovation being handmade by the owner himself, which is truly unique! The view of the old town and castle from the rooms and the terrace was wonderful. Finally, the breakfast was delicious, with a plate of fresh fruits at the end!

Very little not to like here. As our room was at the top, under the roof, if you're tall then there are areas of limited headroom.

A small hotel right in the heart of the town with views to Berat Castle. Very hospitable owner and staff. Delicious breakfast. Tiny private balcony, but lovely views.

The stay at the Master Hotel in Berat was perfect. The room is absolutely clean and stylishly decorated. The host keeps a parking space in front of the house and very kindly takes care of the well-being of his guests. The location is a dream, it does not get better than this. The hotel is located right at the foot of the old town, everything is just a few minutes walk away. Breakfast, freshly prepared for each guest and very fine, is enjoyed on the balcony overlooking Berat. A wonderful place to visit the city of a thousand windows!

We had two separate rooms, one of them had a window to a common terrace. It was not a problem for us but it can make guests feel uncomfortable.

We loved the place; it is in a very nice location with a beautiful view of the old town from the terrace. The owner and his family are very kind; we had a feeling that they really do care about us and our stay in Berat. They have also helped us with the parking, which we really appreciated. The breakfast was generous and tasty.

We loved the breakfast view of Berat and old town and the man who served us breakfast was so lovely. Such a quaint hotel, traditional rooms with a warm feeling. We really enjoyed our stay and would most definitely recommend this hotel for the location, value for money and friendly people.

The hotel is run by a small family business, and as usual, this type of accommodation makes your stay feel like home, the personnel being very welcoming. Is placed at the beginning of the way up to the castle. The rooms are as in the pictures, the bed is comfortable and the quality of the furniture is very high. Parking was great, in the street but right in front of the hotel and also the breakfast.

Everything is perfect

it’s been great for everything. The hotel owner warmly welcomed us and provided all the info we need during the trip which included booking the arrival and leave taxi . The view from the balcony is amazing which shows the View thousands of windows clearly. The hotel itself is super close to the hiking route to the top of the mountain which you don’t wanna miss. What I felt most warmhearted is that they helped contact the bus station driver to send my lost phone all the way from Berat to sarande. Appreciate everything I’ve encountered here.

Amazing location with a wonderful view from the balcony where we had a very nice breakfast. Absolutely clean room, excellent wifi, very kind and friendly hosts. We enjoyed Berat a lot!
