There is nothing to dislike at the hotel, but be prepared that the mosquitos in this area are very intense - bring the strongest repellent you can get.

This hotel is an absolute gem. We arrived tired and hot after walking here from Divjakë, and we got the best room with plenty of space, a fridge, terrace with table and chairs and an excellent bathroom with a powerful shower. There is mosquito mesh on the windows and doors in the rooms, so you can have them open without getting eaten. The food in the restaurant is unbelievably good and very fairly priced. The fish dishes we had were fresh and delicious, the pasta was better than most I've eaten in Italy. Definitely try the grilled prawns and sea bass, they were exceptional. We also had delicious breakfasts here, cooked to order with freshly made bread and local honey and preserves. Couldn't fault it. Our host, Andy, was superbly helpful and kind, chatting to us about Albania, giving us recommendations of where to walk and what to see, playing the best music in the restaurant (!), and he even gave us a lift back to Divjakë on departure as we hadn't been able to find a taxi service.

Top level service and good price in a well run hotel with very good restaurant below,in a nature reserve that we should all be supporting, partly to put money in to local communities, partly to encourage the conservatio effort in the area.

Great location, 10 min walk to the beach, close the national park. Super clean, comfortable and spacious hotel room. Best bed I’ve slept in so far in Albania. We had one of the triples rooms with the terras. Restaurant is very good en the breakfast is great. Good place to destress and slow down. Guy at the reception/restaurant, (Lambros) goes above and beyond to make your stay extra nice.

They should put a joint under the door of the shower dough. It leaks out of the shower cabin.

My Room (1.) was big enough for 1-2 persons with a very comfortable bed, lightning and a Bathroom that was clean and usefull. The Service was excellent and warm welcoming, the young guys did a very good job and where helpfull and kind! Good people there! The cuisine was excellent, consider this Cozy Hotel before going for the biger one next door... it offers much more for less and feels like home.

Good location, close to a SPAR and other shops and lots of restaurants. A little walk (within 10 minutes) to the beach and lots of nature trails. A short drive from a tower viewpoint and national park visitor centre. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast had good portion sizes and the restaurant served great food at dinner. Staff were very accommodating and helpful.

There's nothing negative I can think of

We loved staying at Hotel Pelican, even though it was only for one night as we were travelling further down the coast. The hotel is close to a beach and nature reserve, bedroom had everything we needed and breakfast was very good.

New hotel, good standard. Breakfasts was OK. Close to the sandy beach, where the water is very shallow and warm - the children loved it. Beautiful surroundings, we saw cormorants, pelicans and flamingos on a boat tour.
