The hostel volunteers created a great vibe in the hostel. You’d feel welcome from the first moment and it was easy to socialise with others - especially in the evenings. Also, it was situated well, not far from most things in Shkoder.

The warm welcome of the volunteers was amazing! There is a beautiful garden to kick back but most of all; the beds! They were so comfortable! Mix and mingle with some music lasted till 23:00 and after it was peace and quiet for a good night's rest. I wish I had stayed longer!

The staff and volunteers were super friendly and very helpful whenever needed. The big garden was a great place to meet people and grab a drink together. Also, they organized fun activities. The large dorms with private bathroom and lockers were a big plus.

The only real annoyance was not being able to enjoy any of the social spaces without having to deal with smokers. Seemed like they had to sit in the middle of the large outdoor space and right under the windows. It's a small one and if you smoke you won't mind. Also wished the fly net wasn't ripped in the room. I am a mosquito magnet. Overall though - great hostel.

The place is creative and welcoming. The staff are very friendly and create a great feeling of community for however long you stay. They seem very accommodating with checking in and out in regards to time and if you are early or need tonhang about after checking out they let you leave your stuff if you want to go out. Rooms are large and spacious. I wished I had stayed longer to socialise a bit more. It felt like the guys make a home from home here, even having a whatsapp group to keep you up to date on activities or to just keep clued in. Everything a good hostel should be.

My favourite hostel in my whole Europe trip! The vibe is so good, the staff are awesome, it’s super clean, great location, easy to meet people. Everything you could want in a hostel they have it. They have bikes for rent, they can organise transport to the hike, the pub crawl is great too.

Bag storage is €2 per bag per night, which is a bit expensive for a hostel (we have never been asked to pay overnight storage when we have stayed somewhere before). But we were thankful for the option despite the price.

The staff are really friendly and try to give helpful tips and advice. It’s a party hostel and they create a fun vibe. They turn the music off and relocate the party to another hostel late in the evening, which is considerate for those getting up early. There is a kitchen with fridges, and really nice areas to chill out - both indoors and outside

It was the most social hostel that I stayed at in Albania. It was easy to meet and connect with other people. The staff were super friendly, helpful and chilled and were hanging out with the guests. Everyday something is going on in the backyard like playing games and usually Staff and guests go out together in the evening (if you are motivated). The location is good as well - close to the main street with all the Bars and Restaurants and close to the bus stop as well. Definitely can recommend the hostel! :)

Everything was amazing, I have been to shkoder before, but this stay at Galley completely blew me away. The staff were so amazing, really truly understand hospitality and bringing people together, they provide such an incredible social space with the garden, and encourage a friendly space where you can meet everyone in house. They take care of everything you need for your stay, airport transfer, hiking tours, river day trips, winery visits, advice on where to buy things you need. Couldn't have asked for a better trip. I will be back!

Maybe just the window situation. Weirdly enough part of it was missing, so not entirely blocking outside noise.

Super friendly staff who managed to check us in early. Definitely a fun party hostel but considerate to those going to bed early. Our rooms were super spacious, beds comfy and shower amazing for a hostel!
