Cute hostel with nice decoration and vibes. We stayed in a private room which was spacy and comfortable. The Location ist great only 10min from the center and busstation. Everything was super clean and well maintained. Nice host and cute kittens ;)

Very nice, quiet hostel with a great outdoor area. Klaus and his parents are very accommodating and endeavoured to ensure that everything is fine. Everything is super clean and well organised. There is a small bar in the garden with drinks, beer and coffee. The city centre with all its restaurants and bars is only a 15-minute walk away. And it's very quiet around the hostel in the evening. Klaus helped us organise the bus transport to Theth with pick-up directly from the hostel. My highlight was watching the kitten’s playing and cuddling in the garden. They certainly attract a lot of attention. 10/10

Amazing staff - really friendly and helpful. Great place to stay if you are doing the theth hikes- which I would highly recommend! Can’t recommend enough clean, comfortable and the staff really are amazing, as our first time in Albania they were so kind and helpful of all the best spots!

Really nice hostel, super chill vibe! great if you want to do the valbona-theth hike as you can book with the hostel. we stayed both in a cabin and in a room, both super clean and cosy (preference for the cabin, for a different experience!!) . 10/10 !!!

The accomodation advertises parking without extra charge, however there is a 6 EUR charge per night, if you want to leave your car during the Teth-Valbona hike, which we were happy to pay but would recommend clarifying the info accordingly

Everything was spectacular! Very social and cosy hostel, where it's easy to meet other travellers. Chill outdoor area, very well located in 5min walking distance from the main street but without the noisyness from the bar areas. This was a return visit, as we already enjoyed our first stay here very much. Special shout out to Klaus who met us with a big smile on his face and made us feel super welcome from the moment we arrived. Until we meet again! x

The hostel is a bit further away from the city center than I would have liked, but still easily walkable.

Very friendly and helpful staff, the hostel was exceptionally clean, the garden is a great place to hang out in the evening and meet other people and it is located in a quiet neighbourhood. The hostel helps with organizing trips to Shala River or Theth with pick up right from the hostel.

I forget the host's name but he speaks excellent English. He is a joyful man who tends to the needs of all of his guests with a sincere smile. The same applies to his parents. Clean and quiet. One has the option of relaxing on his own or mingling with the other guests. It was perfect for my needs as I arrived late and all I wanted was a clean place to have a shower and crash for the night. I was also allowed to park my motorcycle within the premises which I greatly appreciated. Unlike other more "elegant", and more expensive hotels which disappointed me, the Hood is a sincere and lovely place which offers exactly what it says at a good price. I felt at home as soon as I walked in. It is one of the places which I have bookmarked in order to visit again when passing through or exploring the general region.

This place is really cool. Nice people, quiet neighbourhood with parking outside. We were able to leave our car in their safe off-street parking for a small fee while we were hiking in the mountains. Beers and coffee cheap. They can help with everything for excursions away to the mountains. Excellent hostel!

This hostel had a lovely atmosphere generated by the lovely staff. The owner (I think he was) stayed up until 1:30am to greet us when we arrived and took the care to remember my note on the booking asking about the River tour (this by the way was incredible, I would recommend booking onto this). The outside area was nicely done with plenty of places to sit and relax. It's incredibly good value-for-money and I would completely recommend. It's a 20 minute walk into the centre so very accessible as well. The parking is on the quiet street it's situated on and easily found from the Google Maps pin.

An awesome stay at the hostel. Klaus and his parents were lovely, it was very pleasant to stay there. We were able to book a trip to Teth and Valbonë through the hostel. The room is very nice, bathrooms are renovated and the outdoors is the highlight. A lot of sweeting places to hang out !

Great hosts! Good communication and very good vibe. Close to the city center, with a great garden to chill in. We could park in the street for free. They also organize different type of day trips (like Theth and Shala River)

The hospitality of the people is just another level. They assisted us with anything related to our trip. The rooms and bathroom were exceptionally clean. The outdoor sitting area is very welcoming and warm.

The cabins were very tiny! Also, they didn't have much info about the busses to other towns, which is a definite must in Albania. We had to go to another hostel (mi casa) in order to find the information we needed.

I really loved Klaus, super friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable and clean, and the hostel outside sitting area was nice too.

Great friendly vibe, host is amazing and was very very helpful with anything that we needed. Facilities are great and super clean. The storage for bags while you do the Theth to Valbone hike is secure, we felt safe leaving our bags there for 4 days while we went to the alps. Loved our stay here overall.

We booked a private bathroom but had to share it with two or three other rooms. Other than that it was very worth the price.

The host helped us a lot with any questions and fixed bus rides and other things to us. The rooms very nice, not very fancy but okay if you only stay for one night like we did. The garden was very nice and a cozy area to hang out and socialize with the host and other guests.
