Great, central location. Fantastic & super welcoming staff. Room was nice, with a very comfortable bed. Common/patio area was also a great place to hang out & have an evening drink. Overall, a good one night stay. Worth noting there may be a bit of noise from nearby bars till late at night which might not be great for early & sensitive sleepers.

The accommodation faces a pedestrian street and during my stay there was some live music till late at night. Even with earplugs I could hear the music. The hostel caters more to the younger crowd that would like to party. (you might consider this point as a positive :-)

The hostel has very good breakfast and offers on some nights a traditional dinner for 3 Euro, which is very good. They also offer you transfers and accommodation for the Theth Valbona hike. I only stayed at their location in Valbona, which was very nice (definetly also try to hike up to the viewpoint). The hostel has two parts, the accommodation is in another building, meaning that people can hang out in the common area away from the dorms. They have coffee machines, so you can make yourself a cup of coffee throughout the day

Really cool place, nice staff and great vibes in here. Special thanks to you guys helping me realizing my desired travel route, it all worked out. Recommend going there even if you're not planning to go hiking and joining for the delicious family dinner. Also thank your for the uncomplicated extension of my stay. I could stay in my original room for another night.

The staff was very helpful and always available for everything I needed. They organize everything you need for the mountain trip (Valbonne Teth). The hostel's vibe is nice. The dinner and breakfast are yummy! The room and common areas were always clean. There are also bikes available to rent to go to the lake and to the castle. The internet connection was good, I could work with no problems. I would strong recommend the hostel to be your place in Shkodër!

The accommodation as well as the hiking trip is a bit pricey, but everything is arranged and went smoothly.

Nice social hostel central located in Shkoder. They are organizing your hike from valbona to teth and you don't need to worry about anything. You get your breakfast in the early morning before the pick up and you can leave your luggage there. A lot of people are booking their hiking trip via the hostel so also as a solo traveller you won't be alone for the hike.

On a very loud street with no soundproofing which made it very difficult to sleep. Shower pressure was very weak.

The transport to valbona is at 6:30, there was a lot of noise starting at 5 AM from people packing, getting ready. To some degree this is acceptable for a hostel. But maybe the staff could remind people at check-in to pack their stuff the evening before leaving for the hike and be quiet in the morning. Also note that the luggage storage is not locked, so you cannot leave valuables there for the time of your hike.

Helpful and nice staff. The dinner buffet for 3 euros was excellent value for the money and a chance to experience real local food. The staff organized us a van with pick-up to theth. It was great the we could leave our luggage at their storage while we stayed in theth. The dorm beds have privicy curtains, a locker and we even had a couch in our room.

The bedrooms point to the street where there are several bars and restaurants and the one in front of the hostel is a bar that has MASSIVE speakers with terrible quality on top of everything that even with all windows, curtains, doors closed, it feels like the music is coming out of your brain!!! So BRING EARPLUGS, good ones! I am a light sleeper so this was bothering to me and this was my personal experience, still I give a high review because they were very helpful organising our hike and the staff was super friendly.

The hostel is really nice, the rooms have air conditioners which are a must in summer, beds were comfy and the spaces were clean. They helped us to organise our trip to Valbona to do the Valbona pass hike which is amazing, seriously just tell them you wanna do this hike and they will organise EVERYTHING for you, which is amazing! The internet was good too! Breakfast is tasty too.

The bathroom is not very clean in my opinion and no sound-proofing in the building It’s kinda annoying during night but it’s do-able for me coz I only stayed one night

I love Everything about this place.

The Vibe, the organized evening activities to get everybody together in the big common room, the easy access to accommodations in Thethi and Valbona, the huge free breakfast, they seemingly unlimited supply of bicycles, the comfort of the beds. they have card keys to get into the rooms and you could not find a friend of your stuff anywhere. Themed dinners are organized frequently… I have been to a Mexican dinner, a traditional Albania dinner, and an Italian dinner while there. There is also a pub night for drinks a very cheap. It’s just a really easy place to meet people, and many of them you’re also going to see in one of the vans going up into the mountains the next day, so there’s a real feeling of camaraderie.

Everything was great

The staff and the atmosphere at The Wanderers sets it apart. Everyone is super helpful and kind and amazingly relaxed. They have a €3 dinner each night. They have a small bae, table tennis, fooseball, kitchen, laundry, bike hire. They will help you plan any extra side trips the way that you want to do them. They will give recommendations that are pretty sound. They will often refer you to guesthouses on any side trips that are also lovely and dependable. Everything went incredibly smoothly with our trip and we have The Wanderers to thank for it.

Bathroom cleaniness was not great. The toilet was leaking, door was damp and damaged and there was no toilet roll.

Bar and social area was great. Staff were very friendly and helpful. They were able to help us with all questions about the onwards journey to Valbone and Theth. Breakfast was great, way better than we expected from a hostel.

Nice and central location close to the bus station and restaurants. Staff were amazing with helping us plan and set up our walk from Valbonë to Theth and pretty much organised the whole thing for us. Great that you can rent bikes here for super cheap and can leave your bags here while doing the hike too. Couldn’t recommend it enough!!

Perfect location for those who want to visit the center of Shkoder. Very nice staff. You can rent a bike for visit shkoder, 3€/day. We had the opportunity to taste a Tipical albania dinner for the symbolic price 3€/person. Cool vibe if you are looking for knowing some people during your journey.

It is great if you want to do the hike as they can organise everything for you, every traveller I spoke to that did the hike really wanted to stay here and it is always highly recommended. If you want to do the hike from Valbonë to Theth definitely stay here!

Had some issues with the room card being demagnetised.

One of the best hostels that I've stayed at! Fantastic location with really friendly and helpful staff. They can help arrange activities such as the Valbona to Theth hike amongst others and settle transportations for you. They also have mexican dinners for 3 euros and karaoke nights on certain days. Drinks were cheap and it was really easy to socialise with people in the garden area. The huge breakfast spread was a bonus. Absolutely love this place!
