Nice hostel with rooftop bar, from where you have seaview. Ten minutes walk to the beach. Grocery stores nearby. Many showers and bathrooms. Recommended !

This hostel is located close to many grocery shops and 10 minutes walk to the beach. The rooftop terrace offers decent music and a view to the sea. You can sit there, surf the internet and don't have to consume drinks at the bar. You instead can bring your own drinks, nobody bothers.

Loved how you had 2 kitchens to choose from. The fanily very welcoming and will help you in anyway they can. great rooftop and bar area, curtains make a huge difference when staying in a hostel.

Would’ve been nice to have some towels and a toilet downstairs. For now you have to go up the stairs every time. But I am writing this just to write something to be honest. Wasn’t really a problem

I don't understand why this hostel has such good opinions. "Hostel" is room that you can not close. Doors are opening to the street and EVERYONE could enter room anytime as there was one key in the door to close it so nobody had own keys. Imagine that during your nigth could some stranger enter it without any problem, open for everyone. One of 3 bathrooms wasn't able to close, and the other one didn't have a full shower. When I arrived, I had to wait for someone to do check-in. I arrived at about 2pm and till next morning (!!) there wasn't any toilet paper even though I've written to the owner that there is a lack of it. Yes, there are lockers, but you can not close it, so for me, it doesn't make any sense. Contact next to my bed almost didn't work, I had to hold my charger to make it working. No WiFi, but fortunately, the hotel next to this hostel had free wifi. If you are not afraid of sleeping in the room that everyone from the street can enter and steal you stuff, yes, have fun here.

The kitchen was below any standards. Very dirty and did not look well looked after. Annoying location since it took around 5 minutes to get down to the main road and beach, even if it on the map looks like it’s just one block away. The door to the room was open the whole night, as a guest you did not have a key to the door, but you did get a key to a locker at least. Would not recommend if you are a solo traveller, not many people go here anyways. treat yourself and stay in a hotel instead.

Nothing, all great

I stayed one night in top view hostel and I can say it is one of the best hostel I have ever been. The place is great, just next to archaeological muzeum of durres and there is a roof where you can enjoy a spectacular view of the bay. I took the chance to work remotely one day and the WiFi is very good, perfect place for remote work. And the owner Jakub is a great person. He let me have a shower before going to airport, even if it was way later my check out. Never in Europe it has me allowed to do so. Only in Albania!

Especially the conversations with the staff/ owners. Also in contrast to the hussle and bustle of the rest of the city this hostel offers quietude, a beautiful view, all in all a relaxed atmosphere and at the same time lively.

There was an unbelievably bad smell throughout the hostel. The kitchen is very dirty, the rooms smell bad. There was no soap and toilet paper in the bathroom, we had to ask for it. Need to wait 40 minutes for hot water, no hot water after one person. Bathroom and toilet were not clean enough. The door of the female dormitory is incredibly loud. It is not possible to sleep more than 2-3 hours at night because of the noise. It was really bad experience. The price is expensive compared to the service.

Unfortunately there was nothing we liked.

The same thing that can be a plus if you feel like having some drinks with fellow travelers can also be a downside if you feel like sleeping — there is music and noise from the bar until late. The toilet was dirty and could use some renovation. Also, there were no shower curtains and things like toilet paper and hand soap were mostly missing. The kitchen wasn't super tidy either. I found the organization a bit chaotic overall.

The location is very good, close to the center, the beach and various restaurants and supermarkets. There is a bar on the rooftop that can be nice for chilling. There is also some workout equipment you can use! There is AC. There is a kitchen you can use for cooking and an area for chillin'. Affordable price.

The owner let this full blown alcoholic stay there and he was terrorising all the guests. I complained to the owner asking what he was going to do to rectify the situation and he said nothing and claimed to speak no English. The drunk man was threatening to murder everyone in our room at night and I barely slept. The owner didn’t seem to care about our safety

The hostel is owned by a family. They were so kind, friendly, and welcoming. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean. The bed was so comfortable and very spacious. They have a nice rooftop to chill. The hostel hforgot & cold water and AC. The second day I was there the hot water in the shower did not work. Either the shower was clean. I would recommend.

The check in was unfriendly. No explanation of anything except “that’s your room” and “can you please pay”. The hostel was not the cleanest and we never had enough toilet paper in the bathroom.

The hostel is well located with a beautiful view on the ocean. The rooftop was great to meet people and have a chilled evening with some music and beers. I loved that they had some workout equipment!

Sitting on their cosy terrasse you really do have a top view, enjoying stunning sunsets, a little eco garden in an urban environment, full with rabbits and cock-a-doodle-dooing roosters, emmersed in history itself with religious, communist and capitalist tempels and monuments all around you completing an ideal scenery. But still, the best thing you'll most probably remember: the ever entertaining Emmanuel and his lovely host family.

Staff is alert, helpful and communicative. Symbolic gym is a bonus, good kitchen with free cold dispenser water. Good wifi in the dorm, aircon is on all the time and much more.
