The kitchen happened to be closed for renovations; however, Gjirokaster has plenty of delicious and affordable restaurants, so no issues there!

Our hosts were very friendly! A very kind family. The room was clean, bed was comfortable, and the heater was great on a chilly night. We loved the balcony; from there, you can see snow-covered mountains (we went in the winter) and the bell tower. The room is close to the castle and old bazaar, and the neighborhood is quiet. Thank you Sheri & Medio!

Kitchen was great, there is 3 shower , one the light doesn t work , another one lockers broken, so only one shower for all the hostel.

Absolutely fantastic stay. The owner was extremely kind and welcoming. The showers are like you’d get at a luxury hotel, with plenty of hooks and places to hold soap etc. The beds are very comfortable and there are lights and sockets and shelves for your phone. 100% recommend to anyone looking for hostel in Gjirokaster!!

Bathroom would need some fixings here and there

Lovely owner. She is like your auntie and she barely speaks some words in English. Beautiful traditional old house, with charm and very cute. On the main street to the old bazar, less than 5min away. Comfy beds with all the basics. Towel included.

Beautiful old stone house, great beds and rooms, fully equipped kitchen and lovely shared bathrooms. The house is well located, in the middle of the old town and close to everything. The lady that runs it is wonderful and the terrace of the house with the castle view is amazing.

I'd like to have stayed there longer.

We loved everything about Trigona. Medio was such a helpful and kind host and extremely relaxed. He was always there if we needed him. It's in a beautiful, quiet area with an amazing view of the castle from the terrace and walking distance from everything. It's a shared hostel experience so shared kitchen and bathroom but we had a private room and it was comfortable, great A.C in almost 40°c heat! We will definitely be coming back. Thank you Medio!

A very strange access to the terrasse by a window which is not so great. No lounge which is normal in a hostel.

Small, clean, nice hostel with a 6 people dorm and two private rooms (2 and 4 people). I paid 11 euros /bed/night. Good location, like 5 minutes walking from the old city of Gjirokaster and 15 minutes to the new town and the bus station. Good kitchen. Big and good bathroom. Friendly staff. Thank you so much for your understanding of people's needs. Good AC. Which is a must on mid July because of the extreme heat.

There wasn't hot water in the shower in the morning, which was a bit unpleasant at such early hour. Very clean bathroom though.

Privacy in beds with curtains, very clean, air conditioning, comfortable beds, amazing terrace upstairs with view of the castle. Very close to the center but quiet street, parking right in front. Very nice place.
