Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. The room near the kitchen is noisy but when you go up no more problem. So don’t stay near the kitchen.
First day I couldn’t sleep because it was too noisy outside. Then on my second day, I was moved to another room and slept well and I smiled. The location is excellent and the staff is friendly. The breakfast is pretty decent

The staff was great. They received us very late because our flight was delayed (00:00), and the man who received us was very kind. Also the man who did breakfast was nice. The price was cheap, but normal for Albanian standards. If it would be for the staff and location the score it would be a 10. But the beds and bedrooms were not very comfortable and it could have a refresh.

They don't have heating, so at night was really cold.
The staff was really helpful, they explained to me how to get to the bus station to visit other Albanian cities. The room was spacious. I loved the breakfast, prepared by the owner himself. Location in the center is easy to find

The hostel is on a busy street, so it's quite noisy at night. A little impractically designed bathroom with toilet. But perfectly fine for sleeping.
Great location, 10 minutes' walk from the center and the bus to the airport. There is a market, shops and restaurants nearby. I appreciate the lockable locker. Friendly staff and owner Adriano will prepare breakfast for you.

Some areas were a bit old.

It was the same breakfast all the time even though i am grateful that the owner took his time to prepare.
I like the owner he was really welcoming.He changed my room because where i was previously was all men. He is also caring he will tell me when breakfast was on.Overall i had a nice experience

Only 3 bathrooms for all people and limited space shower + toilet. Some noise from the street nearby.
Good value for the money, only 10min walking distance from city center. Pretty comfy beds, nice host. Some shampoo and towel included. Posted a YT video about it.

The beds were uncomfortable and the shower situation was… interesting.
Great Breakfast, friendly owner and the location is just superb. 5-10 minutes to the bus from the airport. Even if you arrive late at night (3am), there will be someone checking you in.

The rooms were a little dark, and there weren't enough lockers for everyone, but that was about it.
The location of this hostel is really nice, central and close to many sights and restaurants. The bed was quite comfortable and if you're on the lower bunk you're lucky enough to get some privacy with a little sheet up as a curtain. It's always great when a towel is included. The owner is super welcoming and friendly and the included breakfast is a REAL treat!

The best part surely was the host Adriano, he helpes us with everything and cooked an amazing albanian breakfast in front of us. Nice place with amazing people.

Unfortunately the bathrooms were not the most clean but overall the property was pretty clean. What I didn't like most was the AC being set at a high temperature making it a little difficult to sleep comfortably
The staff was super friendly and the place is very close to the centre. Really enjoyed the fact that they also served homemade breakfast

The beds were making noises.
there were lockers with keys available. every bed has a power socket and a small lamp. And there was a kitchen with great equipment. Overall we were satisfied. The breakfast was delicious and if you have an intolerance and tell them they will prepare special breakfast. Also the room had been dark for a long time in the morning.
