Hard to find location and took some time to find place. You need to make sure you travel behind castle and not centre of town.

We have stayed few times in Gjirokaster and this one is best with food, atmosphere and location. Granny is amazing and her cooking is outstanding. We arrived and had late lunch - so tasty. Her little baby grandson entertained us with his smile. Beautiful place with stunning views.

Location was amazing! Just where you wannabe. The patio at the roof of the building has a pretty view on Gjirokaster castle. Rooms are spacious and clean, free parking, good wifi, homemade breakfast and a friendly family that runs this place.

Spacious beautiful room in small hotel with spectacular views over Gjirokastra and beyond. The family are so friendly and welcoming and the grandmother cooked up some delicious breakfast treats. Breakfasts on the terrace were one of the highlights of our Albania trip

Great place with a beautiful view of the castle. Easily accessible through the newly build road that enables you to reach the property without having to go through the narrow city streets. Once you park the car, the castle and the main city attractions are within a 5 minute walk. The owner was most helpful and accommodating.

Very good location, close to old town with beautiful view from terrace. Huge traditonal room and modern bathroom. Clean, quiet and renovated room. Very good breakfast. Lovely staff.

Probably the best place we stayed in Albania. The family room was very spacious and very comfortable. The owners of the hotel were extremely friendly with us and with our small daughter. The hotel is a bit difficult to find, but the owner was very happy to pick us up from the point in which we were. Be careful if you follow GPS or Google maps because it brings you through the old town (with very narrow streets) and to a street with stairs that you cannot circulate with car. There is a new road that goes from the beginning of the city, all the way behind the castle. Follow that till the end. From there it is easier to find the hotel or ask someone around. There is free parking next to the hotel. Breakfast was very nice too, upstairs in the terrace with views to the castle. We were served among others freshly made "Petullas" .

Very spacious and recently renovated room, clean, great views of castle and valley especially from outdoor terrace, breakfast, friendly staff. Quiet. Close to old town but an uphill walk to return.

Loved the location and view from terrace. Had a huge beautiful room . The staff were so lovely and helped with parking the car. Offered lovely complementary snacks while we had afternoon drinks on the terrace. Staff couldn’t have been friendlier , just lovely people

Extremely friendly personal. They even parked our car. Rooms quiet new, very spaceous and tidy. Big bathroom with rainshower. Bed was big and comfy. Quiet at night, no busy road nearby. View to the castle, not far from city center (5min walk)

The hotel was in a great location with views of the town from the terrace. The room and bathroom were clean and well decorated with great attention to detail. The staff were friendly and welcoming and happy to help with any questions we had about the local area. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Beautiful - modern, clean & high quality accommodations. They seem to be newly renovated and the pictures just don’t do it justice. Staff are incredible - we had car trouble coming in and Albi stayed on WhatsApp video to ensure we reached safely. Even offered to do our laundry when we arrived

We really enjoyed our stay - would have loved to have stayed for more than one night. Incredibly welcoming owners. Views of the castle from our room and the roof terrace (with a delicious breakfast). The room itself is even better than in the pictures - very spacious, comfortable, modern, with traditional detailing. Comfortable bed. Would happily go back.

The location and the view of the castle is10/10, also a few minute walk from Grand Bazaar, castle of gjirokastra and close to many other attractions. The family that hosts you are amazing, Albi helped us with the orientation and park the car. Spacious room , clean and very comfortable, everything was new in the room. I would suggest staying in this hotel.

I don’t drink coffee (unlike the rest of all the Albanians!) and would’ve really liked somewhere to make tea.

Clean, spacious and recently decorated, modern ensuite with excellent shower. The room was very comfortable and had plenty of light and fresh air. We ended up with the room across the corridor due to a mistake by me, and the staffs were very accommodating and generous by allowing us the other room.
