Excellent value for money and very good, helpful staff. If you're looking for somewhere that is more of a family home rather than an impersonal hostel, then Center Hostel is the place to be. The location is very convenient, the hostel is functional, and it's a good place to meet fellow travellers and people living for an extended time in Yerevan. The owner will treat you like you're one of her family, and will teach you Armenian! I kept prolonging my stay here because I was happier here than in other hostels I had stayed in.

It was not the most comfortable bed.

The best thing about this place was the staff, more specifically the lady that runs the hostel. She is extremely kind, helpful and sweet. I stayed in a private room of this hostel (which has 2 beds). The bathrooms and showers are very cleaned as well as the kitchen. Keep in mind it is not a "typical hostel", you can clearly see that it is a house that was transformed to a hostel. There are also some kids around that I assume are related to the lady. Nonetheless I felt very safe and comfortable!

The listing has a washing machine noted in the amenities but this is not the case - there is no washing machine in the hostel. The listing doesn't note that you have to pay for your washing to be done. The room wasn't as described which wasn't an issue for me but might be for someone else. For me, the accuracy of the description is important because I use it to choose my accommodation and this is what you are paying for.

Suzannah is very personable and works hard to keep the place clean and running well. The kitchen was adequate, the bathrooms and toilets were clean, there was good pressure and hot water in the shower, and good wifi. The kitchen area is small but good for meeting other guests. The location is very handy for walking to many places in the main centre.

Zusana is a big value, hostel is small and kinda family run, she smooths everything, very discrete, room is big enough, bed with plugs and locker with lock. Perfect

You have to take the stairs upto 4 floors. The family who probably owns it are sometimes not considerate of the people staying, or maybe they forgot. There were times when someone was sort of quarreling in the sala. Also, i hope they will improve the internet.

The location is really at the center. The main sites can easily be reached by walking.

- WiFi was weak when the room door was closed. - Hot water in the shower randomly switched to cold and vice versa. - I couldn't say I didn't like it but the manager basically slept in the hall room. So you should be quiet not to wake her up. - There was no personal light near my bed

Overall, it's a nice place to stay for a short period of time. The hostel is located in a block of flats in the center of Yerevan 5-8 minutes walk from Republic Square subway station. The manager was friendly and accepted card payment.

- hostel is a bit run down - bed is not really comfortable because of old mattress. If you’re taller than 1.85m or generally a heavy person you’ll have problems - no shampoo or soap in the shower

- great location in the center, in walking distance to most famous sights, restaurants, bars etc - friendly host who’s willing to help - late check out was possible - pretty good WiFi - clean bathroom/toilet - good value for your money if you’re on a budget

It was a bit difficult to find the entrance since this hostel is located in the residential apartment. The entrance is in the backyard of an apartment.

The hostel is situated 3 walking minutes from the Republic square. You can go everywhere on foot. There are supermarkets, restaurants and cafes around. Awesome hospitality. Clean rooms and bathrooms. Safe area.

The hostel is very good, but there are many stairs. We had a very good stay in a large and spacious room with an air conditioner, the location of the hostel is excellent. There is a kitchen for cooking and eating.

The hostel is on the 4th floor, which was a little annoying There is one AC in each of the rooms (perfect temp), but there is nothing in the reseption erea or the kitchen So if you wanna cook lunch at noon on a hot day, you will probably melt :)) From 1am-6am there are no hot water though to a big lundry down street. ( You can shower with cold water and low pressure)

Suzan ( the owner) is a super nice lady . She is always there and will help you with your needs. The location is fantastic. 5 min to the republic Square. The room was clean, and the beds were comfortable. The hole eara is very clean and really felt at home. 2 showers and 2 toilets were also clean and enough. The kitchen has everything you need and you can cook your meal easily You have your own lucker with key and it's quite big Our backpacks wouldn't fit in, but we could leave them in reseption, and it was totally fine.

Speed of wifi could be faster.

The staff doesnt speak english well, so it is better to use russian. They didnt accept credit cards, even though it is written that they accept it.

I felt a bit sorry for one of the hosts who was sleeping on the couch in the living room, I felt bad for waking her up when I came home late at night.

It was a really nice stay with wonderful hosts. Very helpful. It is located behind the pinned address, so just take 2 corners from the toy shop to an “inner yard/parking lot”, and then you’ll find the door with the name on it.

Kitchen/dining area is a bit cramped. I was lucky to be the only early person during my stay.

Very good location, near the Republic Square. It's always good to have the elder lady there, not only that she is helpful.... her present also made others behave a bit... haha.
