Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

Our air conditioner didn’t work well and it was very hot so it make it less comfortable to sleep and be in the room
The stuff was very kind and helpful, there was a place to guard your belongings if you check in early or leaving after your checkout, the beds were comfortable and the hostel’s pool was nice. The location is great on the Main Street where is all restaurants and bars.

Sometimes there is music coming into some rooms very late from neighboring bars.
New installations. Nice s.pool. Well located. Very comfortable.

It can be loud from the restaurants below. Some repairs could be done. Such as replacing broken toilet seat.
Can’t get a better location. Staff are super attentive and helpful.

Shared bathroom facilities and the kitchen weren’t the cleanest. Can be a bit noisy if you want to have an early night sleep

Breakfast was just coffee and cereal, but that is to be expected from a budget hostel.
Very central location, although the noise from the street did not travel in the room which was a concern when we first saw the place. Large room with comfy bed and clean sheets. Large bathroom with hot shower.

We ran out of water, the internet stopped working due to weather conditions,... But they went out their way to fix everything and offer solutions such as having a shower at a different hostel.

Price
Amazing location and staff. Clean and organized place with comfortable space for work and strong wifi. A few blocks from parque San Martín, and great restaurants. The crew sometimes invites you to cook together. I strongly recommend this place. Love u Turkito!

Everyone who stays there are part of the big family. Best personal, always ready to help. Super safe place, I have left my phone in the hall, and found it at the same place after 24 hours, amazing!!!

Very nice hostel! Very nice and helpfull personal. We were very happy to spend there 5 days with two families with children. Excelent place to go out and do excursions. City center and park San Martin by foot. Thank you!I It was very good and we enjoyed the stay.

Value for money not worth
The hostel is close to the center and all around are many restaurants & bars. The room looks really not like on the picture it was not clean and the beds are soo hard. Maybe there was beter some years ago. the sharing bathroom was also not clean. I think if you renovate the rooms & the pool a bite it will be a great place again but until then I would not return. Last but not list the staff was really helpful and friendly.

Kitchen wasn’t quite as clean as bathrooms, felt a bit grimy.
Staff were great, they really kept on top of bathroom cleanliness. Location was great. AC worked well.

The guy in the reception was not welcoming or friendly. They also said we could come in the morning and store our luggage but no one showed up for almost 2 hours, (tried to call and contact them but it didn’t work) so left and came back later in the evening. According to other people at the hostel it was common that the reception was empty.. even tho it was time for check out. The girl who worked there was nice.

the hostel looks poorly maintained with little maintenance.bathroom with mold and paint falling off. the poorly maintained kitchen looking dirty and disorganized.bad breakfast.

The bathroom wasn't clean, the wifi was terrible in the room (to the point where it wasn't working) and the hostel has no noise policy so it was very loud at night if it is full.
