Der Alpenhof Maria Alm Review score: 8.6

“Family run hotel and ideal If travelling with children . When we arrived it was like some crazy kindergarten with kids running riot and no parents in sight . Wouldn’t recommend if travelling as a couple and want peace and quiet . Kids playing knock down ginger at our door and running away when trying to have a rest after a day skiing . They were feral. Bar across the road was pretty noisy every afternoon and early evening . Room was good size and comfortable bed. Great choice of breakfast but didn’t eat there in evening .. bar and lounge area extremely quiet in evening. No tea or coffee making facilities in room which was disappointing. Staff were very pleasant and friendly though didn’t speak English we got by. Wouldn’t return but it if you want the feel Of staying with mad relatives this is for you”

“Soo much to do for kids it’s amazing they also have a daily activity form by each hour with things to do. Pool was always a great temperature and did not find one thing dirty the staff kept it to such a high standard it was amazing. Staff were lovely on reception also very helpful with anything we needed. special shout out to the gentleman on reception he was great.”
