everything is ok👌🏼

for starters - i don't speak english or german, however, great staff, namely artur from the reception - just mega-attentive to customers and instantly solved all the questions i asked. He advised me to change the number, everything was sorted out, I felt safe, despite the fact that I was traveling alone. Because of this, I extended my stay in this hotel and spent not one day, but two in beautiful Vienna. Thank you for making it possible to come to Austria from time to time for a reasonable price. I recommend!

I booked a 4 bed room for four people. They have change the bedding on just two of them, the rest two were lacking the sheets. There was no possible way to park a car not even in surrounded streets. Also the room was supposed to have a tv but there was just an empty space with a sign of presence of tv in the past. Just as the beddings we were given just two sets of towels. Plus it was not very clean…

The price, mostly. Fair enough.

They changed my room and they did not even bother to tell me at first place. They took my bag and did not even send a message or SMS or e-mail, so I thought that my bag is stolen. ALSO in the room that i have transfered there was NO PILLOW, NO BLANKET.

The alleys to the rooms were somewhat dark. The toilet for public in the ground floor was not even equipped with proper lights. Not really a big issues when you can use the toilet in your own room, but still.

The location is close to the central station, so the transportation to/from was easy. Bed was comfortable, they gave us the duvet too, very clean sheets, and towel. Easy check-in although web checkin had an issue with signature so I had to use the app instead.

I'd say that it is a great value for the money! I paid €18, and it's worth every cent.

During my two stays at this hotel, the first in a shared room with other guests and the second in a private room, I encountered several issues that affected my comfort and ability to rest. Despite booking a private room for the second stay, I was still significantly disturbed by noise from neighboring rooms due to inadequate soundproofing. This resulted in disrupted sleep and an overall uncomfortable experience.

The staff are welcoming and friendly, the breakfast is also rich and varied, and the price of one night is mostly unbelievable when you look at the volume of the breakfast, you will feel like you spent a free night, Imagine, 13 euro, with free breakfast 😍😍😍🥰🥰🥰 Thanks so much Avenue Hostel and all the staff standing on it.💝💝💝

The location is wonderful, From the outside, the hostel is beside a Hotel, as well as you know, the architecture of the amazing Budapest, let's you feel like you are in dreams city 🥰

I stayed at the a&o hostel from September 2024, and sadly, my experience was far from pleasant. My bed was infested with bedbugs, which left me with numerous bites all over my body, causing severe discomfort throughout my stay. I’ve attached photos to highlight the extent of the issue. On top of the bites, I was worried that the bedbugs may have infested my clothing, forcing me to wash all my garments at a high temperature (60°C), potentially damaging some of them. This added even more frustration to an already unpleasant situation. I had no choice but to check out early and find alternative accommodation. Despite paying for the full stay, the hostel only compensated me for one of the two nights I stayed. The purchased medicine to manage the itching and discomfort from the bites, which was another unexpected expense was also covered by them. Overall, my stay was incredibly disappointing due to these circumstances. I believe better compensation and preventive measures should have been provided to address the bedbug issue and its impacts on my health and belongings.

I got bitten by bedbugs, I have 5 bites (and I do recognise them well from previous experience, + I have master in Biology, so I really recognise them). Scandalous

The room was very small for 4 people there was no enough space to put the luggage and move freely in the room. The cleanness was okay but not the best. The room was very hot, and had two old small fans that really didn’t do much,, The shower head holder was broken.

The staff were very nice and friendly and the location of the hostel was very convenient close to the main train station. The hostel had lockers you can keep your luggage if you’re leaving and coming back

This hotel does not have A/C and it was impossible to sleep. The hotel is designed for students, and there were lots of children who I guess do not care about temperature in the room. I was also promissed the car parking which does not exist nearby.

I my opinion it the hotel was more your back packer style, very basic but the rooms were clean. It was hot in Vienna and we couldn’t open up the window fully for ventilation. Even for Australian it was hard to sleep 🛌. But you pay 💰 for what you get !! Prost 🥂
