Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The reception and bar area were too small for social activities. No lockers in the room. You must put your sheets and linens on. It's a ridiculous thing i've ever seen in a hostel. I don't know why but almost everybody was snoring in my room in the 6 days I've stayed.
Rooms were big and clean. Location near the central train station.

someone can finally invent a bunk beds with a proper bedside table and a ladder with wide and deep steps which does not require jumping from the top. No lockers. Poor Klimaanlage. Corridors on the ground floor could smell better.

Bathroom door knob fell off when I locked the door meaning I needed assistance to escape as I got locked inside

Staff was very young (inexperienced) and you always had to wait in line for a very long time. There were lots of school groups who made so much noise all during the night. All my room mates were send to this room because the first room we got assigend was full. Beds were still dirty after check in so I ended up asking for sheets and making my own bed. Room was filled with dirty towels from people who already left. Lots of left stuff as well (molded foods). Looked like the rooms had not been cleaned for a while. My bed was a few cm from another one. Luckily it was a girl who slept next to me but since there are also lots of older men in the hostel would have not feel comfortable to share it with them.
Very close to Wien Hbf from where you can get anywhere.

I had to make my bed.As someone checked out and cleaning, staff was not there.Rooms were not so cleaned, I think they clean once a month

It was way too hot inside the room, which could not be solved. No conditioners were available, so it was fairly hard to sleep with +34 in Vienna in June. It was the same with windows that were blocked for the whole opening, so the room got smelly and hot by the morning with a full capacity of 6 people there. The kitchen is small, with only one fridge for the whole huge hostel and only two strove places, so it was not comfortable to cook food.
Location and its easy connectivity to almost every place in Vienna. Suff is also pretty friendly and helpful. Reception is working all day and all night, so even if you come late, they will still be able to help you.

Key card needed reprogramming twice - but sorted at reception without problem.

No air conditioning , unbearable at hot days. Very crowded, check-in can take a while Floor wasn't perfectly clean and room was a bit smelly. You get what you pay for

The arabian(?) stuff girl is unfriendly and not proffesional ... The guy however is nice friendly person cudos to him The cleanness level in kitchen is bad they need to clean more often there, also some trash room near kitchen and smell was little bit bad ... Checking in process fckd up ... If you arrive earlier you need to wait 2x times to check in ... 1 check in and second time you need to wait in new line when the Officiall check in opens at 15:00 (at that point lot of people arrive ofc) Because of the late check in time there is always huge line just to get your card to access the room ! They need to consider lower Check in time to 14:00 and give the customer key card after payment and paper work instantly instead of make customer wait 2 x times . In berlin A&O everything was more smoothly
A Kitchen is open for everyone. Great company of people in hostel ! Bed has light usb source . There is lockable shelf

Staff when i do check-in is not friendly and hotel has only one staff while there're a lot of guest wait for checkin. Luckily there're self checkin kios.

We had an issue with water in our toilet, but we got immediately new room, staff was helpful and nice. Location is also very good, especially if you need to travel to the airport, not far from the city centre. Maybe mattresses could be a bit better/thicker and no fridge, but it's not a 4-star hotel;)

The rooms doesn't have Sandals (Flipflops)
The reception was so nice. The breakfast was so good. They have a storage room to keep your bags even before check in and after checkout

Elevator not working, we had to carry heavy luggage through the stairs. Front desk not friendly and approachable during check in. Floor not clean (no free slippers in the room).
