Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaThey didn’t tell us they’d be doing work directly above our room at 7am. It took two days to replenish the soap in our room. The room was shabby and the hotel needs some care. There’s no vending machine or similar so late night arrivals have no food options until the next morning.
Good location near the Prater park and close to trams, trains and underground.

SlovakiaThe AC in our room didn't work at all, it was very hot. The room was also pretty noisy, the windows in our room were situated on a side of a little patio that was downstairs and people there were a lot loud. The bathroom smelled weird. Would expect more for the money we paid.
The location was good, easy access to subway.

RomaniaHotel does not meet the 3 stars requirement. We booked a superior apartment but it could not be called an apartment... Just a room with double bed and a sofa bed, cramped all together, without space for 3 people (cannot imagine 4 people fitting in it). No AC (a ventilator is provided instead), no fridge, no TV in the room. We had to open all windows during nights, not very comfortable sleep. Sheets having stains on them. Reception functioning during the day only. No possibility for breakfast, no bar, no facility for a coffee in the morning - the closest place at 500m+. It was strange the fact that there was no possibility to secure the door from inside so anyone knowing the access code could enter the room (this might give a feeling of insecurity).
The hotel is near Prater and quite central, in a quiet zone. It was a quiet hotel during our stay. Received full information about check-in before arriving. Good approach with the codes - in this way we didn't need more keys or card access, all of us could come and go independently. The price for our stay was very good. Hot water existent.

BulgariaFor the love of God - please avoid staying there if you want to enjoy your time in Vienna. Nothing is as it's shown - when I asked why we are not given a room similar to the pictures, I was answered those are made 20 years ago. We weren't given alternatives, explanation, we were only told - that's it. Trust me, I could've easily given - 10, if I was able to.
Besides a guy at the reception desk who met us initially, everything else was a totally disastrous experience - what we booked as double deluxe bedroom turned out to be a hallway with a bed in it. We had communicated in advance that we will travel with our son and will pay additionally at the place - no one knew about it, and we were told that the person we've been in contact is not working there any more, thus we had to somehow sleep there as we had no alternative. On top of that, every morning the fire alarm started blasting out - the doors locked, elevator not working - no way out and information - no one picking the phone or replying to messages - only two hours later, as you will see from attached screenshots.

United KingdomDisappointing Experience – Needs Improvement When I arrived at the hotel, I wasn’t given the codes for either the main door or my room. The receptionist insisted that the details had been sent by email, but I never received them, which made check-in unnecessarily stressful. Cleanliness was also disappointing – the room wasn’t properly cleaned during my stay. Towels weren’t changed, and the rubbish bin wasn’t emptied. The receptionist was not polite sometimes, which made the experience even less pleasant. Overall, the stay fell short of expectations. There’s definitely room for improvement in both service and facilities.
