Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

EgyptHotel ignored my message until check in time (15:00) has passed to avoid cancellation. One of the reasons I choose hotels for such short trips is the presence of reception and customer service which was non acceptable here.

United KingdomThe only person that it was nice and he knew what he is doing was Dom from reception. Professional and kind . I think you should upgrade yourself to a better hotel Dom. There were other lady receptions who needs to understand that meaning of profesionalism and active conversation. The internet was horrible, you can’t take any video calls and barely it works to send a text On whattaps.

FranceI live in a room that looks like an attic. The windows don’t close tightly. I closed them many times and they still get blown open. There was strong wind all night. My friend and I originally had colds, but both of us got worse.

North MacedoniaAt the time we were at the hotel, they were doing construction work in front of it, so in the morning it was very loud. But it’a not a hotel’s fault. I hope they are done by now. Otherwise the hotel was perfect for our stay.
It was very spacious and the bed was really comfy.

North MacedoniaAlmost everything. First of all, we booked a room with double bed, and there were two separate beds joined with sheet. The beds moved while sleep, so in the morning were distant between and from the hub.. total disaster. Pillows also extremely bad - very soft and streched out. The staff indifferent. When we reacted for the beds, they didn’t get upset at all, like it is normal and okay not to give the guests the room they booked… they tried with other rooms but they weren’t the rooms we booked, so we stayed in the first.. In the toilet there are no towel racks, so you put them whenever you find. Also there aren’t soap and shower gel dispenser, so they are left on the tiles down. Last day we payed for breakfast (12€) it was not that bad, normal basic breakfast. So, summarised - absolutely not worth the money. We made huge mistake. Never again.

Georgiawe arrived at around 11am. When we arrived at the hotel, they told us, that we couldn’t check in until 3pm. We wanted to visit and explore the city, so we left our luggage in the luggage room. They told us, that reception was closing at 10pm, and gave us our room key just incase. We were at a concert, and we specifically left early to come in from the central entrance, as we didn’t fully understand how the back door worked. We arrived at around 21:55 (specifically) so we could get in from the central entrance and not worry about the back door. When we got there, the central door was opened, but when we got in the luggage room was LOCKED. We thought, that they brought it up to our room, but we were wrong. Also, they mentioned that reception closed at 10, but no one said, that they would lock the luggage room. We have everything in those bags ranging from our phone chargers to all the clothes we need. I don’t know how I’m gonna sleep tonight. Naked or with clothes that I was outside with, which is straight up disgusting. Also, we have the rest of the city to explore tomorrow. We have all the things we want to see marked on Google maps. So because of their mistakes, I have to wait until reception opens tomorrow, then wait until my phone charges, change into new clothes. We only have a limited time in Vienna, as we only have 2 days here, so this will cost us a lot of time.

HungaryThere was no heating and no hot water. An old big airconditioner worked in the room, what couldn't be turned off, and we couldn't change the temperature, because the button didn't worked. We spent two nights in the hotel, showerd in cold water every night. We both came home sick.
The room was super clean and huge. We loved it.

MalaysiaThere's a construction when we stayed here in Oct 2023 at the road of front of our room, so if you're a light sleeper maybe check if the construction is still ongoing. When I check in, the female receptionist just announced our room number loudly for other people who are behind us to hear. They need to be trained better... The staff doesn't answer phone calls from the hotel room. And reception is only open until 10pm or so. If you're out early morning and comes back late after 10pm, you basically can't ask reception for anything. Pillow is super flat and did nothing for me. Had to put layers of my own clothes below it because I wasn't able to reach the receptionists through phone call... 🥲
Nothing uniquely good or bad about this hotel. It's just a basic hotel with decent level of cleanliness. Room temperature is always at a comfortable level tho we didn't change the thermostat (centralised heating I think) I already checked the district that this hotel is located at prior to booking, so I know its not the most strategic location. No attractions or good food within walking distance (For most strategic location look for properties at District 1-4). There's a weed store opposite it tho, so maybe that's a plus for some haha

TurkeySince the hotel is next to the railway station and the main road, it is extremely noisy, and extremely hot and when you open the window for ventilation, you cannot sleep from the noise and dust. Even with the windows closed, the building is constantly vibrating alarmingly due to the trains and vehicles passing at full speed every minute. The biggest problem is that there is no staff at the reception after 22:00 in the evening, they leave a phone that you can call if there is a problem between 22:00 at night and 07:00 in the morning, one of the lines does not work and they never answer the other. When you arrive on the first day, if your flight is delayed or if you are coming on a night flight, you will stay at the door, or let's say your key does not work, you can stay on the street when you arrive late. Because of this situation, you often have to rush back to the hotel. Since the hotel reception is usually empty, either they generally sit in the room inside or at the back, it cannot be seen if someone else enters or leaves the hotel. All this creates a serious security problem. The hotel's air conditioners are closed, and there is a fan that is not even branded and never cools, although the rooms are large, it was incredibly hot in September. There is a metro construction right in front of the hotel, there may be work even at 03:00 at night and the objects in the room vibrate as if there is an earthquake. Water is not sold in the hotel and there is no market nearby. I cannot say that the breakfast is sufficient.
