We were on a road trip and made a stop to visit Hallstatt. This property is only a 10 minutes drive from the center of Hallstatt and a great value, that's why I chose it. We weren't disappointed, the host lady was super nice and accommodating, the property met our expectations. The room and bathroom were very clean and well-maintained. We liked the themed room decoration, each room had its own theme, such as "Mozart", "Sissy" and so on. We stayed in the Mozart room. Would definitely stay here again.

The house is surrounded by mountains beside Hallstatt Lake,just few steps from the train station.And the bus station to Hallstatt and Krippenstein is one minute walk from the house.The room is clean with the window towards the beautiful view.The shared kitchen is equipped with everything we need.And above all ,I want to give my thanks to the hostess.She is the only one who takes free of charge to permit us to change the scheduling due to the cancellation of the train.She also advise us to visit Krippenstein which is the most beautiful attraction of this trip.May all goodness be with you！

The owner was very nice and helpful. She made sure that nothing was missing. The accommodation was comfortable. There was a place to park the car. The location in Obertraun was perfect - close to the lake, close to the shop, the mountains and the town of Hallstatt.

View from the window😍😍😍 The very cute house, many historical things and good equipment. The cosy room and the huuuge restroom. The kitchen with everything you may need and nice coffee. Moreover, it's situated very closely to a train station, which is VERY clean. I cannot believe the train station can be so perfect. Additionally, this house is in the amazing not very fanous village not far from hyped Hallstatt, which is 10 minutes by bus. BUT! Comparing with Hallstatt, no annoying tourists. Perfect. In such a beautiful place I was mentally prepared to sleep in a basement, but this... I'm in love🥹

You need to take your shoes off inside the room, but this may not be culturally familiar to some people (for us Japanese, it was no problem at all).

We stayed in the largest room, which was very spacious and luxurious for the price. The hospitality was also excellent. In terms of transportation, there is a free car park, and you can drive to the center of Hallstatt in about 10 minutes the next morning. The car park in Hallstatt fills up quickly, so the fact that it is close by is a major advantage. Of course, the station is right in front, so it's easy to get there by train.

Heating was weak at times and it started making strange noises all of a sudden, once in the middle of the night. The pillows were very uncomfortable to sleep with.

Quiet location, the floor in the bathroom was somewhat heated which was very pleasant. Convenient to use as a base to do day visits to Hallstatt.

No lift if you have heavy bags

Good location..we had a car but if you needed a train or local bus they were close by.Could walk to small local supermarket. Nice restaurant in holiday complex with a 5 minute walk.

Very beautiful room in style of Sisi. House is close to railway station, but room was very silent. Owner were very kind and waited us to late night. Private parking is located in front of house.

The bed is too soft for my liking. At night, there was no air thus it was warm but when sleeping at night, the cold air starts to come in and room is cold. As I book 2 bed room, 1 of the bedroom is internal. The internal room however do not have much air as compare to the other room. Perhaps a fan to circulate the air in the room will be good.

Location is superb as it is right beside the obertraun mrt. It is a convenient location as bus stop is beside to go to hallstat and ice cave. Owner is pleasant, friendly and accommodating. Room is as shown in picture. Do take note there is no fan or air con thus sleeping at night will be opening the window and enjoy the cool air. Bed is the soft type. Lots of PowerPoint socket.

We are professionals with apartments in Spain and the Netherlands. Based on this expertise we grade this apartment (we stayed in the penthouse, a free upgrade) as a 10. Super clean, and all things you need for a short stay. But moreover, our host Andrea was super. All she said and showed at checkin was what we expect from our team as well. We could also leave the car at the Parking when going out to visit another town. But could have stayed as well as this village has a great lake view and beach etc.
