know the place since long, good restaurant, quiet despite being in the middle of town

The hotel is located in the middle of historical part of the city. It is a great place to stay. The old building has its own history and soul which you can feel easily. In addition, the restaurant on the ground floor is usually full of local visitors, full of live and serves quite good menu, being a mix of local cousine but also including freshly made pizza. You feel the hotel and restaurant are family business in all positive terms of such form. The staff is very friendy, supportive and helpful. Car parking is on the back of the hotel therefore do not use navigation to the front door to get to the parking. There is a backdoor entrance stright from the car park place. The hotel also offers good breakfast in the morning. We stayed there while travelling across Austria and our selection confirmed it is good sometime to leave the main highway and drive relatively short distance to find such a nice place to stay.

The room was very plain and could use some small furnishing. I think there wasn't a waste bin in the room, and only one or two power outlets.

A nice little hotel on the town's main street; a fifteen-minute walk away from the train station, which in turn has good connections to Salzburg and Salzkammergut. My room was clean, warm (in late December), and cosy. The in-house restaurant is also great.

Our room didnt have an aircondition so it was very hot in the room, also my room was situated right above Restaurant and terrace so there was a lot noise till late night

Breakfast at hotel was good, there was a choice different food, from European to English breakfast. Hotel had good atmosphere, restaurant was very stylish and cosy, free parking at the back of the hotel was also handy, we also had a option to use outdoor swimming pool on sunny day based nearby our Hotel, Overall we were satisfied with our stay.

Everything is visibly dated. Also, the open-door policy may be raising doubts about security.

Parking was a little difficult. Parking lot next to the hotel was always full and we even saw someone crash into other people's cars. There was also garage available, but the sms opening didn't work for us. Hotel staff was very helpful and opened the garage doors after calling them, so it turned out ok.

Great location. Professional and friendly staff. Every room is unique. We loved the view of the town square.

Breakfast was not perfect. Fruit qas just in whole peaces (not cutted) and what was missing was some sweet pastry. But egg done freshly for us was really perfect!

The check in was not smooth at all. We went to the hotel and were told that the accommodation is in different place. Which was not far away, so it was ok. Unfortunately, when we got there, the promised free parking was full. So we were going around for 30 looking for a place to park the car. It was very frustrating as it was late evening already.

We had a free upgrade of the room which was nice. The room itself was spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable.

After our arrival, at the reception, they forced us to have a room without air conditioning, supposedly larger and with a view to the city, but the view was not optimal. After our they change to better room with air conditioning., smaller, but better looking.In the room there was a lot of dust on surfices, no toilet paper inside, for everything was necessary to ask somebody.

Excellent location. We booked a room with air conditioning, telephone.. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was sufficient, the table and 2 chairs, all the accessories were sufficient (2 small refrigerators). A small parking lot across the street was possible. Location right in the center of the beautiful city, in car accessibility a beautiful and immensely clean lake fully equipped for water sports, many shops and restaurants within walking distance, really nice place.
