An expert modernisation of an old ski hotel. Fresh while keeping sight of the past. Every room seems to have a balcony with a great view. The restaurant was also excellent.

The shower in the bathroom sucked, the water was leaking and after showering it was all flooded. But that's all and the staff was very helpful and tried to help us with it.

Everything was perfect. Location is beautiful, just peace and quiet all around. The room was modern, spacious and nicely decorated. We loved the breakfast, good selection of food with great coffee.

Excellent location to stay with beautiful landscape view. Hotel staff has been helpful. It’s in outskirts but easily reachable to Salzburg city centre and airport within 25mins in car. Restaurant in the hotel has nice food menu for Dinner. Breakfast was good. We enjoyed the masala omelette specially made for us. Thank you!

The breakfast was minimal, everything in very few portions. If it was a bit better, it would be easily a 9 or even a 10, but the breakfast just ruined it.

The room was great, very spacious and clean. Also the staff is quite helpful. The hotel was also in a very rural location very close to Salzburg.

There was really nothing I could complain about. Maybe only that you need to book a room in advance as the place is often fully booked. And there is no surprise why :)

Fantastic location, quiet place. Very close to the lakes and mountains that were our main target during the prolonged weekend. Great to relax and take a rest after a whole day hiking / climbing. Room was spacious, super clean with a beautiful view. Rich breakfast included in the price. Hotel restaurant exceed our expectations offering delicious, perfectly served meals. The staff was always helpful and made us feel simply welcomed.

Very clean and confortable beds. The bathroom was spotless! We really liked the food , schnitzel, fried special pork and burger plus the apetizzers. Black beer was so goood! Service with a smile, and a great view from the balcony.

Not a problem but to reach the structure in winter you should be prepared to find snow on the street (the hotel lies in a region without traffic so the streets are not perfectly clean when it snow)

The lady owner at the hotel is very accommodating, she gave us special deer meat when we told her we only eat chicken. Very amazing dinner. We really liked the stay here

Very comfortable and clean rooms, the hotel is located on a hill near the lakes. We had a beautiful view from the balcony and very fresh and clean air. It is just a few kilometres from Salzburg. The breakfast was very good. Marget, the host, is very kind and helpful. The dishes in the restaurant of her husband are really perfect, the best we had during this trip

I would recommend the hotel to provide kettle and tea/coffee so that we can enjoy tea/coffee in our room along with enjoying the beautiful hill view from balcony.

This property was one of the best in which we have stayed. The location of this hotel was simply superb with view of mountains on one side & valley on the other side. Our check-in process was smooth and our room was very spacious with a balcony which had a view of mountains/hill. We ordered dinner from the restaurant on the day of arrival, the food served in the restaurant were simply very delicious. Breakfast were also good with several option and we were also served fresh coffee and scrambled/golden eggs upon request. There is also a children play area outside the hotel where my kids played everyday after breakfast. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for the beautiful & peaceful location and it makes a perfect unwinding stay from the noisy city life.
