Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The room was cold during the night Breakfast was ok, but there were no eggs when with got there. Hot water only in the shower. Tap water was cold.

Cannot complain at all - it was the cheapest stay in our trip, in the most expensive of the visited places. Everything was better than expected at this rate.
Great value for money, there is space for short-term parking (we came with a car) and you can get a parking permit per day at a great rate from the hotel. I was incorrectly booked (although we had a permit) and the hotel resolved it quickly and efficiently. Very friendly staff, the breakfast is very good as well. Room is large (we had a family room). Not very warm, but decent to sleep in, which we needed it for anyway. Overall I doubt you can get more for your money in Vienna - at this rate it was fantastic!

Nothing in particular, the property met my expectations.
Very good value for money, the breakfast is good, the place is located pretty close to the center and there's public transportation two walking minutes away, the staff is very friendly and helpful, all in all, it's a great package.

no coffee and tea facilities in the room. Maybe place a machine in a common room? .
Friendly staff. I enquired about a later check out and they made this work without extra charge. The location is good. about 10 min walk to the edge of city center. @ If you want to take the hoponhopoffbus: there's a stop at 5 minutes walk. the neighborhood is great, lots of restaurants around. look in the sidestreets! Definitely try Sagewerk, great food for a good price. Reacting to some other comments: I think they have made some improvements! -wifi in room was good! -breakfastlady was sweet, a little shy. She was helpful and if you start a conversation she is really friendly -was really clean -they provide an extension cord so you can charge your phone by your bed

The heating in the room was elektric radiator and it didnt work all the time, so the room was not very warm.

sometimes you can hear people taking in the other room and if they are using the Lavatory.
it is easily accessible by public transport,clean and sheets and towels are being changed everyday and comfortable.

the first night of our stay there was a smell of cigarettes coming through from the other room and the smoke alarm kept going off
I loved the fact that the hotel is in a classic Austrian building with the inside staircase and high ceilings

If I can make a suggestion I would change the mattress as the one I slept in had a dip right in the middle. I flipped it and it improved a bit but being a bed and breakfast the bed should be a priority. Also the curtain in the bathroom needs fixing as I was feeling a bit exposed...
The hotel is just a stroll away form the centre, about 20 minutes walk and 5 minutes from the metro. The breakfast has plenty of choices, sweet and savory.

The only downside was the shower head. With all this hotel has to offer, I think if they'd invest in new shower heads they would substantially increase their reviews. The rest was all good.
The room was very nice, clean, well kept, and comfortable. It felt like going back in time, which really added to the charm of the place. I booked a single room and it was huge, warm (unlike other comments), and very clean. The hotel is only a few minutes walk to the city centre and is in a nice area close to university buildings, cafes, small restaurants, and grocery stores.

Definitely needs an update, everything is so old. Lights in common areas are low. You have to lift your luggage some 10 steps in order to reach the lift.
The location central to the centre (10 min walk) Price is really reasonable.

The directions on the hotel website on how to get there from the airport were good up to the point you get off the tram. It says "hotel is in sight". It is, but would be better to say "stay on same road but cross over and walk approx 200 yards in direction tram is going".
Good location about 10 mins walk from Centre. Safe area at all times. Tram stop a few hundred yards away and underground line U2 5 mins walk. Hotel is just fine, breakfast was good (and the lady running breakfast was especially helpful). Reception were friendly. Room small but you only sleep there so no issues. I'd stay there again.

There was a mold in the shower. Over all the room could be cleaner. With cleaner room this would be unbeatable value for the money.
Hotel is very well situated in the centre of Vienna. The price for a room at this location was wonderful. The staff was very kind and helpful.

From the room we could clearly hear our neighbors talking. Wall insolation is very bed.
Location is great. The breakfast was standard but it had all the essentials.
