Shower was a bit tight to raise my arms to wash my hair, but what do you expect with a 700 year old building?

Location was central and perfect, property was full of charm, breakfast room was quaint and lovely (breakfast was simple but sufficient). We ate dinner in the restaurant and it was also wonderful. We would stay here again and recommend it to friends

It is an old hotel, owned and managed by a family for multiple generations now. That means no elevators and creaky wooden floors which was totally okay for us because it added charm to the hotel’s classic designs. I suggest skipping this hotel for families with constant need for strollers (Kinderwagen) though, as it proves to be a lil bit challenging. The breakfast buffet needs a little improvement and the pillows should be replaced because we were almost lying flat on our back due to it’s lack of cushioning.

This property offers one of the best views of the Hallstatt lake. Location is central—near shops, cafès, just a walking distance to the Salt mines and the Bus Terminal that takes you to 5-fingers. The hotel itself has a rich history and staff was very helpful and offered us a copy of the ferry and train schedules for our departure. 🤗

Nothing! Everything was great!

The staff was very nice, welcoming and helpful. The breakfast buffet was nice. The view from the room was extremely beautiful, and the private terrace to go swimming was the best part of the stay.

Perfect location for Hallstatt getaway! The place is over 700 years old and it has amazing ambient. The breakfast is rather basic but I would still rate it very high given how amazing the place was..

The hotel is situated at a great spot, close to the parking lot by walking and of course right next to the lake. It was easy to find and quite comfortable. We loved the lake view from the room and the rich breakfast.

I can hear the floor cracking noise when I was walking. I think it happened because the building is quite old, it was built about 700 years ago. Anyway, it wasn't bothering me during staying that much.

A tiny bit smothered with decorations.

The house itself, historic furniture and paintings, flowers and how the staffs dress in traditional clothes (maybe because of holiday), is amazing. Balcony with lake view is amazing. Such an experience!

Location is great almost in the centre of the town, but the Hallstatt is very little so I think location is not a problem. You will see a great view from the room's window. It's an old.. no.. even ancient home. Owners can tell some history around it. Breakfasts are great!!

Lots of stairs.

Amazing views everywhere! Our room overlooked the lake with amazing mountain views. Lots to explore within walking distance. Breakfast buffet was included. Excellent restaurant on site and others nearby. Room was very comfortable with patio. But the views were the best!!
