Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The hotel is quite old - carpets, bathroom are not so clean as they could be due to this. No AC made the room quite stuffy while we were out and the little window was not enough to clear the air, so it can be tricky during summer months.
Friendly staff, spacious room, relatively clean. Nice quiet location with lovely neighborhood. Garbage taken out every day, towels changed frequently. Really cheap for Graz.

The beds creak a bit when you turn over while sleeping. May be they need to be replaced. Didn’t bother us much.
Perfect location. Quiet at night. Very polite staff. Comfortable and clean room. Tennis courts. Good restaurants at walking distance. Big parking for free. Value for money.

No ventilation in the room, so the air was stuffy. We opened the window a few times for more comfortable sleeping.
It was as on pictures. The price was affordable compared to others in the weekends before Christmas. Kind staff.

On booking it says check in only at from 18:00-20:00, but the staff told me that there is someone from 6am there, maybe it is just a mistake on booking. The facilities were a little bit old and dirty.
Parking is huge, and it was easy to find. The staff was super friendly and wanted to help us with everything. Good value stay for overnight.

Pillows were too low & soft gave us a headache. No English on the TV at all.

loud engine type sound running through the morning and on and off. slightly annoying but not end of the world. couldn’t get in to the downstairs to get food or drink, after 10pm.

Very friendly staff. Very relaxed atmosphere. Quiet at night - I slept really well every night. Bed was firm, which is how I like it ;o).

We did not get any breakfast, the staff did not talk English "nur Deutsch" and also was not present in the reception most of the time and we hoped for better wifi, a bigger table and maybe a fridge...
The room size was fine, it was also clean and calm, beds are comfy, it is budget-friendly

- awful bed - no air conditioning - it was hot like inside the oven. If you will open the window - a lot of mosquitoes will fly immediately. - no animals policy, but somebody lived with two dogs. They were barking every time you going outside and inside your room. - No light in corridors - you have to use flashlight from the phone to be able to find your room. - power socket didn’t work

Not meant to be as a hotel for sure. It’s like a tennis club & has no facilities of a hotel. Rooms are very basic & there are no staff members Not recommended for stay as such

There was a brochure in the room telling us the hours for breakfast, but when we checked, there was no breakfast available. (The brochure must have been for high season...we were there in September.)
The room was very large and very nicely decorated. We were pleasantly surprised! Big bathroom, everything was very clean and new. The man at the reception desk was helpful and pleasant, and spoke English well. Great parking as well!

Bathroom was a bit moldy and old. Bed was quite squeaky. In general room was really old fashioned and could use some remodeling. I'm not happy because price was too high for what it was.
