Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United Arab EmiratesStaff - Unfriendly staff, environment felt tense and unwelcoming Restaurant - As soon as we entered, hostess checked her watch and looked quite disappointed we were there. After we were seated, we were made to wait 15 mins before any menus were presented. Another 15 mins goes by before anyone takes our order. Food is nice, service is poor.
Beds - Extremely comfortable and firm that gave us a good night's sleep Breakfast - Very good spread

PolandMany things like rooms are old not very much maintained. Cleaning staff is actually place back the used items back to place and never knock before entering the rooms while cleaning.
The property is very old, could common areas are well maintained but not the rooms they require urgent renovation. The basin and shower area blocks water that it floods the washroom upon a single use. Front desk staff is good however the cleaning staff is just place the user towels, glasses ..etc back to the place in the name of cleaning.

PolandWe have just returned from our weekend in Austria and have been asked to provide a review of the accommodation. I would like to present a fair and honest review. The hotel was priced at 91 euros per night. Firstly, the hotel very easy to find and easily accessible from the motorway. Car parking was available at 36 euros per 24 hrs. We were greeted at check-in by very friendly multi-lingual staff and the process was very good. However, when we arrived in the room we discovered that we were given a twin room not the double that we requested via booking.com. The room itself was very tired and hadn’t been loved for years. The surfaces had all been wiped, but the corners were still covered in dust and greasy finger marks. Carpets needed a proper vacuum, the curtains were stained, finger marks on the wardrobe. The desk chair had ripped fabric. The bathroom had hair on the floor and in the bath. The toilet was left with markings from the previous occupant. Despite contacting reception to change rooms, we were told as the hotel was full we couldn’t change rooms without incurring an upgrade fee. And the cleaner was sent. The lobby area was infested by mosquitoes! We drove 7 hrs to arrive in Vienna for a romantic child free weekend and this left a bitter taste. We will seek a refund for the stay.

ChinaThe reception desk is a bit down side. The male, maybe only one male worker there? not sure. He is really nice and a pleasant young guy. But the females, hard to say. The lady at the check-out day was good, and two ladies at the check-in day weren't, their attitude were like I own them money.
didn't have breakfast there, not sure about the food. But the room is clean and nice. And the location is a surprise, just next to the metro station, like just next to.

RussiaThe rooms have quite old furniture. There was no bathrobe and slippers in the room, although there should be. I asked at the reception and they gave them to me. It was weird. initially, I booked the hotel for 2 nights, then I needed to stay one more night, the reception staff said that they had only one single room available for 250 euros. At the same time, after 5 minutes, I found it in booking.com a lot of free rooms at a price of less than 200 euros and took one of them for myself. The receptionist did not explain the false information in any way. I asked the reception about a taxi to the airport, the reception employee said he could call a taxi for me, the final airport price is 42 euros. Upon arrival at the airport, the driver told me the price of 60 euros, that is, I have to pay another 18 euros for the taxi to return to the city. All this was due to different reception staff, which means that they are all incompetent and cannot be trusted.
The only plus is a 5-minute walk to the metro

JerseyThe staff. The hotel itself was beautiful and clean but the staff that we encountered during our stay were unfriendly, cold, and unhelpful. For that reason, I wouldn’t come back to stay at the hotel. Lovely facilities but the staff could do a better job at being more welcoming.

Czech Republic- The quality of the room was subpar to what I would associate with Marriott (used up wallpaper and furniture, limescale on the tiles of the bathroom, a cockroach on the wall) - Parking for 36€/day is equivalent to a parking ticket - why should anyone use the garage then? To add insult to injury, the garage are not the most spacious. The Marriott brand used to be up until now a safe choice for me but this hotel was a bit subpar. While the staff was very nice and the lobby looked promising, clearly the renovation stopped there - the wear and tear of the room was not even the worst as I had the displeasure of personally meeting a cockroach (or a similar bug) for the first time in a hotel room in Europe. Furthermore, paying the parking ticket would have ended up in the same amount as the fairly narrow parking

Bosnia and HerzegovinaI expexted more from Marriot. I am not familiar with every level of Marriot but I stayed in Marriot Courtyard hotels before and it is not acceptable for me that they do not have workers that can help you eith luggage(I was there with lot of bags and my little family). It is not problem for me to carry my luggage but I also had to find by myself hotel baggage wheels. I know that I may sound as a snob now but if I wanted to do everything by myself I would gladly take another hotel. My car also had a trunk on top of it so it could not go in their garrage but they did not gave me to park out of the hotel where it does not bother anybody and I had to park it in public garrage just opposite to the hotel but one hour of parking is 4.5 euro. Keep this in mind when you want to book this hotel.
