Would have like slightly more room in the bedroom and the washing area. But, again, I couldn’t complain at the price!

We stayed in a ‘private dorm for 4’ and it was perfectly clean and the beds comfortable with clean towels and bedding. However, our room was very compact! 4 bed cubes with about 3’x18’ of floor space was snug, but fine for us for 2 nights. I can’t complain at the price, though. The communal dorms looked a lot roomier, so if you are staying with ‘strangers’ in one of those I imagine it would be a bit easier. Wi-fi was spot on, all the facilities were clean and well maintained and the showers worked.

Very clean and nice looking, realy close to the train station, metro and grocery store, it is also not that far from the centre. Wonderful kitchen

They don’t have lockers inside the room, so you basically have to sleep with your thinks because imagine 6 people with their staff around. Also it would be nice each bunk have some little table or something to put quick access staff.

The process of check in is very simple, and facilities are very good. You are super close to a sub station that will take you to the center in less than 10 minutes, and a bus station is also across the street which is very convenient.

Self checkin system is awful, I waste more than 1 hour to win this system, problem with charge from card, than with passport photo, etc. And too soft mattress, I think it’s bad for spine

The check in system was terrible - it took me about an hour to check everyone in (5 people) and it didn’t work properly so had to redo it several times. We couldn’t get into our room and there is no staff and no one was picking up the 24h phone line for a long time so we had to wait for a long time before being able to get in and sleep.

The location of the hostel is perfect. 2-3 minute walk from the Vienna central station. The place is constantly cleaned by two ladies.

Unfortunately I was in the room on the ground floor directly facing the street. This meant we couldn’t open the window as it was a safety/security hazard. Staying in a room with 8 people in the summer with zero ventilation isn’t fun at all, the tiny fan on the floor didn’t do much and sometimes there was a musty smell in the room because of this.

Kitchen was well equipped and always clean. Showers and bathrooms were also immaculate. Right outside central station, easy to find.

Despite double glazing noise from outside was loud all night, we were on ground floor. Could not open window or shutter due to safety concerns upon facility advise.

Good location to train station and subway. Having luggage storage facility was a bonus. We had a late train to take. We had the luggage, bathrooms and common kitchen facility to use even after checking out. Supermarket nearby, but to note that they close on Sundays.

The heat of the room was unbearable, downside to self check in is that no staff are around for help. Put luggage in the luggage room and my code stopped working after check out so could not get my luggage until someone came to open the door for me. Flaw in the system. No aircon and one small fan provided which did nothing as the beds are enclosed in wood frame
