Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

TurkeyOne of the most absurd things we have ever seen. It is almost end of November, it is cold and the air condition is blowing cold air! The room was literally even colder than outside. We've called them many times. Yes, they were polite but there was not a valid solution. They couldn't change the air condition blow or turn it off. Nobody called or asked the second day if everything is well or not. On the other hand, the bad and the pillows were not comfortable either. And there is so much noise in the hotel starting very early and ending too late. It was one of the worst stays we've experienced in years and for sure, we'll never stay there again.
Location is good, especially coming from or going to airport or some other city. Lobby is good, unless someone is cooking something smelly.

GreeceThere was no one at the reception to do the ckeck in. You can let your luggages if you arrive before the check in time, but no one was in the place of the reception to take care of them. The room is small and cold,i dont think there was any heat. The bed was inconvenient.

HungaryWe could not check in online, the process is long and our 3 different bank cards were not accepted, although we were paying with them everywhere in Vienna without any problems. So we had to go to the other hostel venue (other train station) to pay in cash and to be able to check in. There is no staff in this hostel. The room was very cold and you can hear the noise from the street and see their shadows, which is probably not the thing you want to do at night. You also have to make the beds yourself (bedlinen).
The hostel is close to the train/bus station and the location is good. The bathrooms are clean and the lobby is a nice place to sit and drink/eat. There is a luggage room which is good. The receptionists at the other Do Inn Hostel were kind. (At this hostel there is no staff.)

Romania-
The beds are interesting and i liked the lock on them, so you can keep your stuff there. Looks like the pictures, the location was great, a few minutes away from the main train station (which helped us with our stay here).

GermanyThe beds make no sense. The wooden doors on each bed I assumed from photos was for safety (important for female travellers in mixed dorms) except you’re not allowed to lock them from the inside. Check in took 25 mins because the app they have you use only showed one of the beds I booked so had to manually check in over the phone instead which took a long time. Beds were very uncomfortable compared to other hostels of similar price. No storage available in bedrooms.
The location was right on top of central station so easy to get to tourist sites from the hostel

Greece1. The bed is the only place one can sit while in the room. When one is in bed, the bed is also the only safe place for valuable items. When out of bed, one has to carry one's valuables around. Spent 5 days in Vienna in close contact 24h/day with my laptop, which I carried everywhere, slept with, and charged the battery during sleeptime (therefore sleeping with the cabel too!). 2. One hand towel for 5 days, for every use, including shower and hair, and not a place to hang it - not even a chair. Had to dry it at the hand dryer. 3. Sharing the room with people without having a clue if they are inside while one is also iside. If they happen to come in the room and into their beds or vice versa while one is in bed, one knows they moved but still hasn't seen their faces. This is a little nightmarish. 4. Nobody at the reception most of the time - extremely difficult for every newcomer to find their way through all that code-number system.

United StatesEverything is electronic from check in to getting into any part of the building. There isn’t anybody at reception, so they are not there to answer any questions you may have. The luggage room was left unlocked multiple times and only requires the same code to get in as the main door. The bed sheets did not actually fit the dorm beds. The showers had an odd pressure issue and no spot to hang the shower head. Security at night was very poor and lacked any additional measures. Another person in the hostel let somebody in who stole most of our food, amongst others food.
The staff was friendly and was cleaned every morning. The kitchen was nice and had all the amenities needed to cook. When we needed to reach out to the staff, they did have a prompt reply. Nice big common area.

JordanAs a whole, the hostel is good but I think that the pillow needs to be placed with a better one. It is too thin and not comfortable. Also, the bed space is not suitable if you have a plus-size body.
This place is just around 2 minutes on foot from Vienna Central Train Station. I can go to the city centre in 20 minutes on foot, or less than 5 minutes by train which only costs me 1.20 euros. The best part of the hotel is its sense of privacy, i.e the bed space is fully covered with a wooden sliding door, and thus I can use the bed space as a locker room when I leave the hotel in the daytime. It has a code to lock the wooden sliding door, so I have a peace of mind when leaving my personal belongings in there. The hotel management is also kind enough to let me use the luggage room before checking in.

EstoniaI would probably advise to reconsider the design of bed- the metal base of a bed makes it very uncomfortable and even sometimes painful to stand up out of a bed as metal things hurts the skin.
It was my second time staying in this hostel and I would probably stay here again. The location is probably the best thing - it's very close to the train station and one of the bus terminal of Vienna - last time I got an early return flight which i had to take a 2 am airport connection bus and this time I got an early bus to Bratislava, and the location was very convenient to get on a bus station on time and without any hassle. You just have to cross a rode to arrive there. In general, I think the hostel is perfect for a short stay or for people who are traveling multi-cities.

BulgariaThe beds are uncomfortable. The beddoors creack a lot and you get waked from this.
I like the international guests from all over the world. Great pleasure to sit in the lobby and talk to them all. Very friendly staff, the blackhair and the blond cleaning ladys, and Oliver as well. Very nice stay, you can win a lot of new friends there.Top location in Vienna near the main train station. Billa shop in 15 steps on the right side. Option for self cooking.
