My room could be entered directly from the hostel garden, so you basically sleep next to the street which is okay for summer though but not sure about other seasons. There is for sure some problem with ventilation there, because it smelled not nice and there was some kind of mold on the ceiling in the shower. Another thing is sockets which can be places very far from your bed. In general, I recommend choosing this place only if it’s for 1-2 nights and you cannot find anything else for this price.

Good location next to Westbahnhof. Cheap if you book in advance.

The room was slightly humid, and the neighbor is not the world's best in the least to say,

Uniquely relaxing cellar-inspired room design, only second to their broad courtyard filled with sunlight and blue sky. And of course the breakfast/lunch/dinner I did in the courtyard, with foodstuffs procured from the largest best-buy supermarket in front of the property. Time spent with the other guests some of whom don't mind cooking for the other guests. It's got all the hip elements you can expect from the hostel experience, even if you are not so lucky (if you see what I mean).

Little noisy from being close to Carles Bridge. Wouldn't stop me from staying again .

Prison, but u have to pay for it 🤣 - Some guy stole my slippers! - No electricity sockets by the bed! Had to watch for my stuff not to get stolen while charging!!! - Could not sleep at all. . One of the guests was snoring as a bear! 🐻 - cleaning lady mopped the floor while i was there. I had to walk barefoot on those chemicals. -That cockroack was nasty! 🪳

Extra charges everything. €2.40 per item for ironing. Laundry was ridiculously expensive at €18. Room could be a bit cleaner, lots of hair on mattress. No lift to go upstairs.

When I checked in first day, I promptly paid for an extra night and was told I could keep the same bed. However, when I came back the next day, my things were cleared out and something has lost even retreated them. The staff attributed the problem to a lack of communication from their colleagues on the previous shift. In an age reliant on digital system, such mistake is unbelievable, particularly in a city like Vienna. When I asked to talk to the manager, they said the manager wasn't around, instead of saying "sorry". So, my reaction was like, "WTF!" They even asked if I was swearing. It's so disappointing, to say the least.

Overall, the hostel as a whole was satisfactory. The problem is nothing to do with the facilities but with the staff. This might be rare but just happened to me. I just need to spit out.

Other guests were prostitutes or drug addicts or what? Shouting, cursing, slamming doors, all day and night. I didn't feel safe to leave my room to go to the toilet. What a horrible experience.

The room was smelling cigarets. I left the room for some hours and when I came back the door was closed and someone told me that there was a fire in a room. The reception was closed and they didn't gave me another solution. So I stayed outside.

The single room in the front building had signs in the corridor for guests to keep quiet, and I had a good night's rest. The double room in the back building was a bit cramped and the window looked out onto a courtyard with door to the dining area. There was a lot of noise (from cleaning/kitchen staff) early in the morning. Guests were also noisier... I'm not sure if the dorms were in that wing.

The hostel is a charming heritage building and even closer to the station than other reviewers state... it took me only 4 mins walking from the rear exit of the station. I had 2 different rooms on 2 different stays. Both were very clean, with bright bathrooms and strong, hot showers. I was allowed to leave a small suitcase in storage for a few days between my 2 stays. Breakfast includes freshly prepared eggs. On Christmas day, they offered free homemade punch and gingerbread to the guests.

Extremely soft and uncomfortable mattress. The room smelled of cigarettes the whole stay even though we opened the window a few times to let the fresh air in. The window couldn't close so there was draft, it was extremely cold and noisy because the room was facing a busy street. You could hear every car and every pedestrian walking also because the room was on the first floor. The heating was not working as well. We couldn't change rooms beacuse the hotel was at full capacity.

The staff at the reception was pleasant and helpful. Location is solid, the bus to the airport is near as well as the metro and tram. But if you want to walk to the first district it takes 45 minutes. Good wi-fi. The hotel also offers fun activities such as pool and darts. If you want to use a hairdryer you can just ask at the reception. There was always hot water to shower and the water pressure was good.

The room doesnt look like the picture. There is no space to open our luggages. Hair found on the bed. Have to deposit a passport to borrow a hair dryer. Should bring your own locker when store your luggage in the storage room.

The position, near tramway, metro, easy to get to city centre. Polite and friendly staff, respond to messages quickly. The kitchen is nice. Restroom access and luggage storage after check out.
