United KingdomRoom amenities limited. No shower cap, slippers etc. just soap and shampoo from dispenser. I always feel that this extra touch makes the hotel feel more homely and also less stress for travellers to have to carry.
Location was easily accessible by bus. We travelled to Innsbruck on train from Zurich and was able to get the bus from the train station straight to the hotel. Register with the hotel prior to arrival so that you can get the Innsbruck tourist pass which gives you free travel on local buses and free or reduced entry to various sightseeing spots. This is really highly recommended. Nice view of the mountains from the hotel. We had a large room which was comfortable. Breakfast is good with essentials available but now a huge variety but sufficient. Hotel feels cosy with a family run feel.

United StatesPutting two twins/fulls together is not a comfy sleeping experience. You cannot spread out in the middle of the bed. I think my room was advertised as a Full or a Queen. The comforters were also too small and built to fit each individual bed that were combined. Not the best sleeping experience.
Front desk was very helpful. They booked a taxi for me on the return journey. Also, gave me advice on driving into Italy through the Alps in the winter. Having the restaurant in the motel is pretty helpful but make sure you have reservations for the weekends.

United StatesFor us, we were a little bit disappointed. We had been planning to stay two extra nights in Germany at a hotel that was about $75 less per night... it was INCREDIBLE. We decided to change our travel plans so we could see some of Austria and we chose Dollinger as our hotel. It was rated similarly to the one we were already in, and we were having a great experience. We found the rooms to be very basic, no frills, moderately comfortable. We were disappointed we had left the hotel an hour down the road and paid more to boot. The rooms felt clean at least, but not our favorite stay.
This is a no-frills-hotel that seemed clean. The rooms remind me of a basic and clean motel in the US. It might be a good choice for a ski trip to Innsbruck area. I'm not sure how it compares to nicer hotels in the area... and if it is much cheaper than it will do the job for a quick in and out trip, but it was nothing to call home about.

Practical for a 1 night stay and close to the zoo and cable car. Breakfast was included and a good breakfast it was, with lots of choices for a good start to the day. The room was clean and tidy with reasonable facilities. Staff were friendly and helpful.

United KingdomThe mattresses were a little hard so we didn't sleep that well as we re used to a soft mattress but I guess that's up to preference and habits. Pillows were also a little too soft. The rooms were very very hot so we ended up opening the windows for some fresh air.
Breakfast was nice and had plenty choices. Sometimes at 8am the bread was running low already but not a big deal. Location was pretty good with plenty bus stops around. We were given the Innsbruck welcome card which made going around free. We were worried about being next to s busy road, the the windows are triple glazed so no noise from road disturbed us. We also didn't hear any neighbours which is great. Very helpful staff and always ready to help. Clean facilities and hotel in general. Food in the restaurant very tasty with plenty choices.
