Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomI was on the 4th floor with no lift available. That's a lot of stairs 😅 Bed was really creaky. Needed a new frame.
Nice neighbourhood, 7 minutes on tram to City centre Good privacy. Fairly quiet. Clean.

United KingdomThe bed and mattress were comfortable however I agree with the other reviews that the bed was noisy every time you moved however once asleep I didn't notice and it didn't wake me. I found the hostel to be as I had expected from the other reviews so no real surprises either way.
Great location on the tram route D. Hostel was welcoming and secure. The facilities I used on the 3rd floor were always clean. Lovely courtyard garden space to relax.

PolandVery hot, there's no air conditioner in the room, plug socket wasn't near bed, an average comfortable bed
Good wi-fi connection on third floor made me schocked, clean room, bed sheets and towels, good location to centre of town and other attractions, excellent access by public transport (trams run very often), no problem with check-in and out, fair price in terms of quality.

FranceThe shared showers could have been a little bit cleaner but it is what is to be expected for this price.
Great value for the price. Some comments mentioned that the wifi gets bad in the higher floors and that you need to rent a towel if you don't have your own but I was provided a towel for free and wifi was great on the last floor.

SpainI would recommend the one person room as they are in better shape. The 2 beds bedroom have awful walls, the beds are almost falling down and the vibe is just awful. The manager… the only person in a 5 days Vienna trip in the middle of a terrorism threat that was awful. His manners, the underlying hate towards me like if I wasnt actually paying for the service. I work in customer service and that’s why I always put my nicest voice and attitude towards the people who do the same as me but this man has a lot of inner work to do. Everyone in this city was so friendly and nice and giving to swifties and this dude kind of even threaten me to kick me out if I dare to bring my bf to my bedroom and I was actually asking him how much extra it was to add the changes for to of my 4 nights. He could have said no and I would’ve understand but he said yes as if it was a favor (I paid and it is a hotel, this are common question or changes in this area) but instead he said yes and ask just the whole communication proccess let me feelinh so uncomfortable.
The location is great! The ladies from the front desk are great and so, so polite.

Hong KongThe wooden bed was very old and when I laid down, it generated squeaky noise, very annoying. Also, I barely received the wifi signal in my room and the speed was super slow. Also it said smoking is prohibited in the building, but I always smell the strong cigarette smell in the corridor.
The location is good near the U bahn station and the price is reasonable.

PolandThe room did not match the pictures presented on Booking.com. The furniture was very old, and scary looking. The bed was not comfortable and creaked with every movement. The shower was dirty, the temperature was hard to regulate, and I found a big moth there (pinky size).
The location is really nice, pretty close to the city centre. Also, you can use public transportation, the stops are not far from the Dormitory. The place is located in a close vicinity to Lichtenstein Palace, a very beautiful palace and park. The staff was very welcoming and helpful.

SpainOnly one plug 🔌 in the room, and not at the bed side. - As many others commented, no hot water for the shower - As many others commented, no fan inside the room and this summer has been 🔥🥵🔥 if you open the window, then you have more tram noises than fresh air...
Perfect location, with tram, night buses and Franz Josep Bahnhof (within one km). Lots of restaurants, supermarkets, etc. - Quiet neighborhood - Super price with 24h front desk - Very attentive staff!

Bosnia and HerzegovinaDo not expect luxurious rooms (ideal for someone for whom accommodation does not play a big role). The WIFI was weak on the 3rd floor. There is no elevator.
The location is excellent, quiet neighborhood, the price is excellent, staff speak excellent English and were very helpful. The place is open 24/7. Inside the building there is a garden where it is quiet and ideal for doing work on the computer and for relaxation. The tram station is a 1-minute walk from the accommodation.
