Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CroatiaBathroom could use a bit detailing... it looked like it is not finished yet. No cabinet, no curtain or glass door on shower,no place to put toilettries. A bit empty. But clean and okay. Also, would expect toillettries from a 4* hotel.
Very friendly and helpful staff!

AustriaThis might be of course not so easy to change but the walls of the rooms are very thin. You can hear what the guest in the next room is saying through the walls.
I stayed there for the third time. I like the location, the breakfast and how helpful and friendly the staff is!

United KingdomRoom could have been cleaner; some areas eg. the bathroom were spotless but when I moved a bottle in the minibar to put my own drink in there I discovered that the bottom of the fridge was full of dead flies which I had to wipe up myself, clearly it hadn't been cleaned for a long time. The windowsill was the same, lots of dead insects. Disappointing because the rest of my stay was great!
Wasn't expecting my single room to have a bathtub so that was a lovely surprise! Excellent location if you're using the train station, only ten minutes from there and 15 minutes from the town centre BUT be aware that the Graz tram system is free within the centre plus one stop outside it, which means there's a free tram to and from the town centre via the Roseggerhaus stop only 3 minutes walk from the hotel! Reception staff were friendly but not intrusive which I appreciated, everything worked properly, comfy bed, consistent hot water, lots of plug sockets in the room, plus plenty of loo rolls in the bathroom. It was also free to leave my luggage by reception (until 8pm, when reception shuts). Check-in and check-out were both nice and quick. Would definitely stay here again!

CanadaThe staff could work on their friendliness. If you're manning the reception desk at a hotel, you need to be friendly. The woman running the breakfast seemed particularly unhappy but maybe she was just having a bad day?
Location is good if you plan to walk around to see the sights. Hotel had parking on site which is always good. Not many spots so make sure you reserve in advance.

United KingdomThe location was great, 1 stop on the tram from the main station. 3 stop on the tram from the main square. The hotel was lovely, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good. The staff were a little lacking in helpfulness, or welcome.

United KingdomThe duvet on the bed was much too heavy for this time of year and made sleeping uncomfortable.
The location was excellent being on a frequent tram route (and with a stop right outside) between the city centre and the railway station. Reception staff were friendly and spoke excellent English and the room, though not large, was well-furnished and comfortable. Having minor mobility problems, I also welcomed the availability of a lift. Overall the hotel gave the impression of being a bit 'old fashioned' in the pleasant sense of the phrase - unpretentious but friendly and with personable service rather than the 'one-size-fits-all' clinical 'performance' of so many modern hotels.

Czech RepublicFor the parking price of 17 euros/night you need to go back and forth to the reception to get the keys to the garage. Very inconvenient. It would be nice to automate the process.

United KingdomThe hotel was OK, but it would benefit from some general upgrade. The room and common areas are dated, carpet in the room is old (at least in my room, cannot comment the status in other rooms), when I walked in I opened the window because it smelled "dusty". The building may have some interesting features but the general look is something to work on...
Staff was kind, room was quiet, location good, not too far from town centre and the price was right
