Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

South AfricaThe hotel is a bit outside of Linz and in the industrial area. Feels safe, but as a solo traveler, it was not necessarily the best location.
The rooms are super modern and the amenities does make for a great stay. Probably best for an overnight. The rooms are quite soundproof and it is very peaceful. The trams and trains are close by, which is nice. Also a bakery and some restaurants downstairs or accross the street which is very convenient.

AustriaThe room has only floor heating and despite the maximum set temperatures, it was quite cold during the night. The exterior window blinds were constantly going up during the night (automatic system) and all the light of a huge crossroad in the industrial area was flooding the room, no matter how often I woke up to close the blinds. Noisy location, due to some of the main roads to Linz, left and right of the hotel. TV channels scrambeled and not working, except 3 national broadcast channels, nothing else available. Also no smart TV, for online alternatives. For almost EUR 100 for a double room, the quality does not meet the expectations or standards.
Easy check-in, fast processing of business invoice by staff, free parking spaces, capsule machine for coffee and tea.

RomaniaIt is difficult to walk my dog(s) in the vicinity, so we are always in a big hurry in the mornings.
This is not our first stay here. The ease of access, the comfortable rooms (and beds), the contract with Haubis for breakfast, the proximity of a gas station (and a McDonald's), the parking - we have plenty of reasons to return, again and again.

HungaryI would improve the communication: I had to ask for the invoice two times. There is only one QR code for information about breakfast. You can have breakfast at the cafe/ bakery on the ground floor, but that is a separate company. They do not know about the breakfast was included in the price. On the second morning the staff asked for the invoice, and I was lucky, because i already got it, so i could present it. It is also recommended to book a table for breakfast, which is also not communicated, and can cause unpleasant surprise, if you do not have too much time in the morning. All of the other services, and the meal was perfect.
I liked the location, the room, and the cleaning. The breakfast was really delicious.

SlovakiaThe hotel is located close to the highway so there's quite a lot of noise when you want your windows open. It is not a problem with the windows closed.
It's a self check-in hotel, everything is perfectly organized, all the necessary information is in the room. Everything was clean. The bed really comfy. There's a fantastic bakery on site. McDonalds near the hotel. The tram stop a few meters away with the connection to the town centre.

AustriaThe only downside was that it is not air conditioned. I'm not sure when the hotel was built, but any new building has got to consider air conditioning, given the direction the climate is going. The fan was adequate.
I chose the hotel because I was attending a wedding nearby. Everything went smoothly with check-in and the room was quite nice, new furnishings, coffeemaker, good towels. I'm used to staying in Pod and Yotel hotels, and this room was much bigger than I anticipated. Being in the same building as the delightful Haubis bakery restaurant was a huge plus.

NetherlandsThe toilet light is on a sensor and it's not the best. The toilet and the shower have a glass door, which is not ideal and the ventilation is throughout the room. It's kind of a semi-opened bathroom.

AustriaTwo major problems: 1) the bath room door and floor are subpar. The bath room floor and regular floor connect badly with each other, this in combination with a door that doesn't connect to the floor means A LOT OF WATER runs into the room. 2) the hotel is directly next to the streets and badly shielded against sound.
The room is new and has a good size.

GreeceNoisy room from the street traffic. The blinds are not closing and are noisy from the wind. Bed is not comfortable. At breakfast I had to pay for bread and for fresh Orange juice. When they realized that my order was below 13 euro, they gave me back the amount for the bread but still the Orange juice was paid. Book it without breakfast as you can have the same breakfast with less money.
Location as I was transit to Germany. Spacious room. Nespresso coffee machine (brought my own flavor)
