Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

There was a heavy machine noise outside that was maybe a generator or something? Took a while to get to sleep because I was distracted by it. Walls are not as sound proof to neighbours as they could be. Light sleepers with loud neighbours not a perfect combo.
Super clean room, comfortable beds, easy to use check in. Cute Mexican cafe downstairs with wonderful food and great vibe.

Room was very good, coffee and water was included. Self-checkin and parking were an absolute killer. The cafe downstairs makes great mexican food, so you can stroll out to the town on a full stomach.

There is a restaurant in the building with a lot of people standing around outside so entering the building felt rather awkward but once inside it was quiet and private.
We had a very big, clean and comfortable room. The self check-in went smoothly. It was quiet and we had a good nights sleep. There is a very nice bathroom with a good shower. This is a good choice for a comfortable place to sleep.

It was a little far from restaurants and stores and it was a little expensive for a night.
Loved the self-checkin option, it was easy to do. I didn’t expect a whole apartment to with complete kitchen, dining table, living area and huge TV in the bedroom. I was pleasantly surprised. They even have a brochure with complete guide of the hotel and around.

Our room was on the ground floor, and the big windows opened up to a vacant area next to the hotel. This personally left me worried about people being able to climb in through the window while I was sleeping, as it was a very warm night and we needed the windows opened. Security bars or something similar on these windows would have made be feel a lot safer.
Self check in was convenient and easy. The Mexican restaurant attached was lively, good value for money, delicious, and the staff there were so friendly and helpful. The room seemed fairly new and was therefore clean and comfortable. It is in a fairly quiet location, convenient for people passing through on a road trip. It seemed quite popular, so they must be doing something right.

Very hot, but fans are provided. Ground floor rooms are smaller and facing carpark and road, but seem to be quiet enough

The location is great if you make a road trip as we do. Really clean. There is no reception, it is a self check-in, but it is the easiest self check-in that I have ever experienced.

No air conditioner in the ground floor rooms. It was too hot and suffocating and we could not open the windows as there were no mosquitoe nets.

No iron/ironing board or kettle in the room (might have been Available if requested earlier but as no reception/staff on site I couldn’t ask)
