Reception closes at 8pm although the receptionist offered to stay until 9pm. There is a keybox for check-in if you do arrive after that. Room was slightly too hot (presumably because heating was centrally controlled).

The room was very nice and clean. Staff was very helpful. The location is very convenient given it is a 10 minute (pleasant) walk to Old Town and the breakfast was good. Most of the restaurants around the hotel were good and affordable (c.f. the Old Town). Good value for money in an otherwise very expensive city.

The bedroom could do with a comfortable chair

The owners are great very welcoming. The bed was very comfortable. The location although not central is great if you don't mind a commute to the station if you don't have a car.

Very comfortable hotel by the river, a short walk from the city centre. I didn't have a room with a view of the mountains, but the breakfast room offers that view and it was absolutely fabulous to have breakfast while looking at the beautiful scenery. The breakfast was very rich and satisfying. There are blackout curtains in the rooms and the place where the hotel is located is very quiet, so you won't be disturbed. The staff was pleasant and helpful. I highly recommend it!

We were originally placed in an annex building about 5 minute walk up the street. Although the room was fine, there was no view and no atmosphere. Asked to move into the hotel itself. This was much better for us; however the owner was clearly not happy with us and it showed for the remainder of our stay. When booking this hotel, I believe it should be made clear where your room will be, and the option to choose the lovely original hotel building should be possible. Breakfast was ok, but after two mornings eating the same limited offerings, we wouldn’t have took breakfast again.

Lovely old original hotel building. Once moved into the main building, we had a lovely room with fabulous views of the snowy mountains. Free parking was a bonus.

The rooms were warm and would benefit from aircon. Having a window open meant noise from the road outside the hotel. It would be very different in winter I presume.

It was a pity that the car could not be parked closer but that did not cause us a problem. I was very happy with the security and large space for my car - not always the case with underground car parks.

A very friendly family hotel. Everything was clean and tidy in a reasonable-sized room. Plenty of choice at breakfast. Good secure underground parking, though that was a 3 minute walk from the hotel itself. Easy walk into the old city centre (about 10 minutes) and even late at night it felt very safe there. Lots of eateries nearby and the old city centre can occupy you easily for several days. Also conveniently located for taking the train up to the Hungerburg - the station is about a 20 minute walk from the hotel.

Centrally located just across a foot bridge from Hofgarten and old town. Modern rooms (we were in the annex a short walk from the hotel), good breakfast. We were able to park our motorcycles in the parking garage at no cost.
