It's hard to find any faults. There isn't an elevator if you have mobility issues

This hotel is very near the center of Scharnitz and next to an italian restaurant that had great tortellini. I don't usually use spas/saunas, but their facility was amazing, and I felt relaxed after a long day of hiking. Scharnitz is a very small town, so it's within easy walking distance of the trailhead/info center as well as the train station. The staff was also very nice and allowed me to leave my main pack at the hotel while I went for a hike, much appreciated their hospitality.

Located on the main road, the room was loud. It also could have been cleaner.

Beware that there are few diner options in Scharnitz. This shouldn't be a problem when you stay one or two days, but for longer stays, you'll probably want to hop on a quick train ride to Seefeld for alternative diner option.

The staff is very helpful and nice. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was sufficiently large and comfortable. No complaints really. It is easily reachable with public transport (i.e., a very comfortable modern train) from either Munich or Innsbruck. It is a good place to depart (or end) your trek through the Karwendel park.

everything is clean, the stuff is very nice and user-friendly, location is great - just 7 mins from the train station. good place for all fellow cross-country skiers/hikers.

I liked everything about this hotel. There is nothing to dislike.

Breakfast was excellent. The room was extremely clean and good-looking. The staff were extremely helpful. They will help you all the time. They also provided me with the train pass from Scharnitz to Seefeld during the whole stay. That was very nice of them. I like it so much that I will book the same hotel when I will go there again.

Everything there is very nice. The rooms are clean and well renovated. We got enough choices and fried eggs for breakfast. And you can’t miss the sauna which is open in the evening.

The breakfast really worth the price and was very nice having it when it was a holiday and everywhere were closed! The sauna was very nice and clean! The rooms are spacious and usually with a balcony towards the mountain.

We spent in Frankenhof Hotel 5 nights. I liked everything - cosy and clean room with nice view of mountains, very good breakfast, close proximity to the cable car in Seefeld and Mittenwald (Karwendel) and very hospitable hostess! I definitely recommend the Frankenhof Hotel to those who want to spend a good holiday in the area near to Karwendel National Park. Thanks to Analise for very warm welcome!

Breakfast was tasty but not included in the price of the room☹️ The bed was good and I had a good night sleep even though a blanket was a bit small for me(190cm).

The rooms are so spacious with nice balcony and a perfect view. If you enjoy peace and quiet this is the right place. 😁👍

We had to leave early 0530 and could only get coffee from a machine but it wouldn’t take €2 coins so no coffee for us.

Everything was clean and spotless. The rooms and beds very comfortable. The receptionist Annalisa spoke very nice English and was very helpful with arrangements and answering questions.

We absolutely loved our stay. Beautiful rooms, well appointed with jug, toaster, coffee machine, fridge. Very spacious and comfortable. Would stay again. Needed to have breakfast earlier to make a meeting, and this was arranged with no hesitation. The bread was so fresh it was still warm. Super friendly & kind. Was on a motorcycle and had undercover parking. Very quiet. A great restaurant for dinner just 50m up road.
