Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SingaporeThe timing of the spa opens from 12noon to 7pm. Will have hope the hours in the evening is longer.
We went in start of June and we love the peace and quiet in the hotel. The spa was relaxing and refreshing as well. It is our second time in the hotel since 6 years ago!

United StatesFixed dinner menu was a little disappointing. Meal was delicious but we would have preferred a wider selection.
Outstanding location in Wachau valley overlooking the Danube River. Wellness center had fabulous views of the River from saunas, lounge area and pool. Breakfast was excellent.

United KingdomFor us the beds were a little soft, but we slept ok.
We stayed in a huge room on the 4th floor, which had a large balcony with sunloungers, and a table and chairs, overlooking the Danube. The room was very comfortable, despite not having aircon - we left the patio door tipped open, so noone could come in, but we had airflow all night. The swimming pool was great - a very comfortable temperature - not cold, but not thermal water-hot, either. There are plenty of sunbeds around. Be prepared that some women prefer sunbathing topless around the pool, even in a classy hotel such as this. We had dinner on the terrace as we arrived quite late - the meals were delicious, but they are not huge portions. We are not big eaters, but we were glad that we had ordered salads to go with the meal, to bulk it out a bit. The wine menu - as one would expect in a wine region - contains many protected-origin local wines. I had a glass of the dry (trocken) Muscateller with my meal of traditional Knödl (dumplings) in wild mushroom sauce, which was beautifully flavoursome. After dinner, we walked to historic Dürnstein along the Danube path - a very leisurely 20-min walk each way, plus time for exploring this dainty town. When we checked out, we were gifted two small jars of honey (one for each room we had), from the Pfeffel Winery's beehives, which was a lovely surprise. Would definitely recommend staying here and exploring the Wachau region along the Danube.

United StatesIt was SO hot (up to 33°C outside) and there were no screens on the window, so we couldn't air out the room at night either (to try to cool it down) or else the mosquitoes would come in. There was no air conditioning or fan, so we ended up purchasing our own fan. The sauna closes at 7pm and the pool closes at 9pm. It would have been nice if they were open longer. Parking was a bit tight and when the hotel is full it can be hard to find a place to park (though I think there is also extra parking across the street). It's VERY expensive to eat at the hotel. We didn't have plans for dinner the first night so decided to eat at the hotel. It costs 38 € PER PERSON for the "deluxe" 4-course meal. There are other "cheaper" options, but they are also VERY expensive, even when compared to fancy restaurants in the area.
The bed was the MOST comfortable bed I've ever stayed in in a hotel. The pool on the roof is heated and very pleasant. The breakfast buffet was AMAZING and had something for everyone. I'm so glad it was included in the hotel price. There was a balcony with a lovely view. The TV was easy to use, though it was not a smart TV, so we couldn't watch things like Netflix, etc. The location is great and very beautiful. There are apricot trees just across the road where you can pick and eat fresh apricots. (we were there in July) very yummy! They gave us a fluffy bathrobe, slippers and 4 towels per person to use during our stay.

NetherlandsThe rooms have no airco, so when temperature are high (>30C) the rooms remain very warm for a along time. You could open the windows, but what the pictures don’t show is that the hotel is located 50 meters from a train rail and 70 meters from a busy road. So be aware when you book this hotel.
Nice quite location, 1 mile from Dürnstein. To proof swimming pool, good food and very friendly staff.
