The road to the property is quite steep and dangerous in winter; definitely take the road from the Hintertux village center rather than the one Google recommends (right turn at the village entrance). All-wheel drive or snow chains mandatory.

The walk down to town is a little steep, keep in mind if you're carrying ski equipment or shopping. Ski equipment can be stored at cost closer to the Hintertux ski area and makes things easier.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful apartment in Tux, and it truly exceeded our expectations. The first thing that took our breath away was the absolutely stunning views from the balcony. Waking up to that every morning was simply incredible. The apartment itself was spotless and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen had all the necessary appliances and utensils, the beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was modern and clean. We especially appreciated the welcome booklet that gives useful information on the local area and attractions. The location of the apartment was also perfect for exploring Tux and the surrounding area. As well as easy access to hintertux glacier, where we were able to ski. Overall, we had an unforgettable stay at this apartment. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-equipped, and beautifully located home base for their Hintertux adventures.

We had a two bedroom apartment with doors that opened onto a grassy garden. Convenient free parking. Great location with a short drive to the Hintertux Glacier Gondola, which takes you to the highest point in Austria. The hosts were very nice. Check-in was smooth. Remember to take your own food. The hosts provide a coffee machine and pods, and you can get bakery goods at breakfast if you order the evening before. The kitchen was well-equipped. There are stairs, but they are not steep and have good handrails. Beautiful views from the room and the garden.

We missed a microwave in the kitchen. The pool's water circulation system is quite loud, so we couldn't sleep with the window open. The wonderful panorama is spoiled by the wind wheel placed in front of the window.

Wonderful place, view of the glacier, silence and good air. The bed is comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped, and the sauna is excellent.

USA properties are more stocked with paper towels, basic cooking oils, coffee, tea etc. This was not as stocked as I am accustomed in USA. but everything else made up for that. it was great.

The apartment is in a very good location where there are tons of opportunities for hiking, skiing, cycling etc. The balcony side of the apartment had beautiful view. Overall we had a good stay.

There was nothing that we didn't like about the apartment or facility. It was a wonderful stay.

We had a great stay. The location for hitting the slopes and outdoor activities in Hintertux could not be anymore ideal. Very close to the base of the gondola to go up the mountain, and close walk into town for dinner (5 minutes). We were not expecting the apartment to be as well kept and perfect from what the pictures showed. In by far exceeded our expectations. The owner is also very helpful and accomodating. We would certainly stay again.

The garbage bins are placed in the same room where ski equipments are stored. It smells a little and some bins are too full. The pillows are a bit too soft and shallow.
