Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

I wish the shower in bathroom is fully covered. I splashed almost the whole bathroom while showering. But still minor issue.
Cute family-owned hotel,polite host, clean and comfortable room, it had everything we needed for a short stay with a toddler in Salzburg. Breakfast was great! I wish we had a opportunity to try the michelin approved restaurant in hotel, hopefully next time we will have more time.

A very homey hotel with great cleanliness and comfort! We had lunch at the restaurant and it was really good too! Staffs were very friendly. Definitely out of our expectations. Free parking at hotel compound.

Obviously a hotel right in town is even better but if you've got an eye on your wallet this is a good choice. For a longer stay (we were there 2 nights) the room could be a bit bigger. There's no elevator so you need to be good on your feet for the walk up a flight or 2.
The room and bathroom are recently renovated. The room completely soundproof with electric shades to sleep in as needed. We ate in town but the restaurant is apparently superb. They gave us free bicycles that we used extensively. One night at the ballet we were all dressed up and took the bus both ways, about a 13 minute affair, walking distance about 300 meters, we got the bus tickets right at the hotel.

Only one pillow, very soft and flat.

A genuine suggestion - please put mini bar fridge in rooms, as someone would want a cold refreshing drink in the middle of the night :)
The room and the bed were very comfortable, bathroom is huge and modern. Everything was super clean. Close to the bus and train station. No complains overall. The staff was very nice and helpful, they even alowed me one hour later checkout. Breakfast was delicious.

We had hoped to eat in the restaurant but it was closed Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.
Modern, clean, friendly atmosphere. Lots of room to store our belongings. It was quiet and appreciated the air conditioning and internet. It was reasonably close to the bus system and we had no trouble navigating our way around Salzburg from this location.

Tha bathroom was basically a glass door in the room, and all the light was going thru. It wasn't a really good value for money, it was a basic room with basic utilities and it was a bit pricey. The location was somehow good, close to the highway but not next to the city or to a bus station.
I liked the staff, they were really nice and flexible, taking into consideration that we had some special requests for our family. It was clean, the room was large, we had a baby cot and there was still plenty of space.

Room along main road was very loud. There are no shower doors, which resulted in a lot of water on the bathroom floor.

The room was small, no elevator for 4th floor, although theoretically close to station, it feels like a very long walk.
The rooms looked fresh and there is an open air restaurant with an area for children.

The hotel offered everything that we needed.
The breakfast buffet was excellent. We didn’t have a chance to try the inviting restaurant. The hotel is a five minute walk from the main train station & well served by buses. We arrived early & the staff were v friendly & accommodating.

I am not a big fan of finding litter from previous guests under the bed. The pillow was too soft for our taste, maybe an extra pillow might have solved this issue.
The staff was helpful. The breakfast was decent. Although the location is near the railways and the road, we could not hear any noise (our room facing both).

We would have appreciated a fridge in the room. Although the rooms were equipped with a kettle, only tee was provided. Additional coffee would have been nice.
It is a friendly family-run hotel 15 minutes from the main station. The service is excellent, rooms are spacy. There was a terrace next to our room, which was a pleasant surprise.
