Very nice hotel, located just 10 min walk from the central station. It was pleasant to stay in a family-run hotel with a personal touch. The staff was very nice and helpful. Everything was spotlessly clean. Good breakfast. Recommended.

The water from the shower would get everywhere as there wasn't a door. No lift

The hotel is near the railway tracks and is a little noisy at night.

The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The owners were friendly and helpful. They had two bicycles that they let us use for the day.

The hotel ist very good but there was no elevator and this was not so comfortable for my mother to go upstairs every time 😅 otherwise everything was verygood

This was such a warm, cute and tidy hotel. The area in which it was located was wonderful, only a short 10-15 minutes walk from the main train station, but still felt like you were in a quiet country home. The room was immaculately clean and had a lovely little coffee tray and modern bathroom. The breakfast in the morning was such a treat and the staff was very friendly. So glad I booked here, and wish my stay was longer, but I had a lovely night of rest.

It's a tiny thing but the inclusion of coffee with the kettle and tea would be very welcome and a mini fridge would make the room absolutely perfect. It was unfortunate that we arrived on a Sunday when the restaurant happened to be closed as this was something we were looking forward to so, as a guest, maybe check in advance. The said, there is another absolutely excellent restaurant just a few metres away and it has a full children's playground too. This isn't really a negative, just information that may be useful for future guests.

Great location for the train station and extremely helpful staff (The lady on reception insisted in helping us upstairs with our bags which was very kind). The room was modern, clean and comfortable and our request for a children's cot was all organised before our arrival. The bathroom had plenty of storage and the room, in general, was very practical in it's design and functionality. Basically it's exactly what you see on the pictures and read in the description.

The location was 1 KM by walk to reach Slazburg Hbf, one could also take bus 23. We specially liked the room decoration with tables, racks, comfortable bed, private bath and the best a big balcony. The room had all things to prepare tee in the room.

What a lovely hotel. Friendly welcome and good english spoken. Helpful with directions. The room was better that expected. Modern in appearance and extremely clean. Bed was comfortable and the air conditioning was a bonus. The breakfast was superb with a large choice of tea and coffee. There were cereals, fruit and a good supply of bread, meats and cheeses. The hotel is in a good location for saltzburg centre and the old city. Bus stop not far from the hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel and if I return to salzburg I will be looking to book this hotel again.

I knew the location was a bit further than I wanted, but due to circumstances well outside of the hotel restaurant Auerhahn's control, three of the four close bus stops were temporarily closed. It added a bit more walking, but I still would have chosen here to stay. Also, fair warning if you have heavy bags, there are several flights of stairs.

The price was exactly what I had planned. When I was picking between the hotel restaurant Auerhahn and some well known hotels for similar prices, I wanted fine dining close at hand along with helping a smaller business. This is purely family owned and you will meet the same 2-5 people that handle everything each and every day. One more note on the food - it was some of the better I've had in Austria, not only Salzburg.
