Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CroatiaThe floors are made of wood, which makes the whole object very noisy. You really depend about other guests' well behaviour. Its hard to expect people to keep their kids on the leashes for whole day so its inevitable to experience unpleasant noise from tenants above, even from other people just walking in the hallway. But I guess that is something that cannot be improved bcs of the nature of the object. After all most people dont have problems with that, unfortunatelly I am not in that group and it makes a significant impact on my overall experince. But bcs its such a personal thing its not fair to give the object a lower rating bcs of it. Nevertheless, I think its worth noting! Also, the object was really really quite during night and early morning hours, and that is fantastic! The only other thing that I could single out in the sense of cons is the lack of an option to eat something in the evening, the restaurant is not working. And its not an easy job to find a restaurant in the evening in Hall. But, this is a small butique hotel and the price is proportional so there is really not point in holding the owners accountable for not playing in the higher league of their own. All in all the stay and the object was really good and we were pretty satisfied!
Great views in the morning of the mountains and partly river. That has a really big impact on the overall impression. Spacious and impecablly clean room. Maybe the biggest bathroom we have ever had on our trips. Really friendly staff. The girl on the reception had immediatelly dealth with our request on the arrival. All the girls from the staff are beautiful, which is not without significance :) The hotel is very quite at night, but I guess that depends on the guests also. Honesty bar is a very nice amenity, the concept itself fills you with positive energy. The breakfast is very nice and delicious but lacks a bit of variance, but all in all its pretty good. The location is actually great - you are a short walk away from beautifull old town of Hall! An absolute must see! My kid had a fantastic sleep and overall experience in the bed and before going to sleep. Having an option to take the tea from honesty bar to your room just before sleep was great for him! The dog that dominates the reception is very very docile and a nice addition to the friendly atmosphere. I have seen some reviews about dog smell prevailing in the halls, but that was certainly not the case during our stay, I could say just the opposite! Eventhough the radiators were lukewarm at outside temperature under zero, the room was at comfortable temperature.

Everything was superlative. Wonderful hosts who helped us with information about the area, comfortable room, exemplary cleanliness, fresh and varied breakfast. Wonderful view of the mountains and the river, close to many slopes. The decorations in the hotel are very interesting, very tasteful design. In the hallways you have the impression that you are in an art museum. Gentle pets, to which the children became attached.

Very friendly and helpful staff, easy access from motorway and plenty of parking. Although it’s close to the road, the rooms face the river and there’s no traffic noise. Old town is an easy walk away across the pedestrian bridge. Spacious room with balcony was clean and comfortable.

United KingdomWow!! What a beautiful hotel and location!! We had a very warm welcome from the staff at this hotel. Our room was huge, overlooking the mountains and river Inn. The beds were beautifully made and everything was so cosy and clean. Bathroom was spacious and had a beautiful glass door etched with one of the towers that could be seen from our room. Very bespoke made. The modern sculptures around the hotel and grounds were fascinating and the gardens very pretty. We walked around Hall, crossing over the wooden bridge, under the railway, and found a great restaurant recommended by the hotel. Another very warm welcome! Breakfast was a fantastic spread of cakes, breads, cold meats, cheeses, fruits, cereal, yoghurt etc…. All in very rustic dining rooms overlooking the garden. We definitely will return to this hotel for a longer stay.

IndiaIt was easily highlight of our stay in Austria. It was a short scenic walk from the train station. The rooms were very spacious and well lit with a big balcony. The space was managed well and the bathrooms are huge. The triple room #29 had river and mountain view separated by a secluded bike trail. The breakfast was great with a lot of vegetarian options. We preferred having our breakfast out in the garden but they also had cozy wooden seating inside the property. Laura, Sonja and the resident dogs Ella & Lucy were very gracious hosts. They told us about the history of the place which offered us good perspective about the culture and local food. They even offered to help us plan our day and recommended some excellent places to dine at. They also provided us with City Card which came in very handy while using the bus to explore Innsbruck. We would gladly stay here again!

United StatesThe establishment’s facilities are up to date, modern and provide all services one would need away from home. We were impressed that artists had chosen the Gasthof Badl to display their art.
It is family operated and managed with an air and attitude of providing the best quality of lodging, services and breakfast! Our room was wonderful and decorated beyond what we have found at larger chain establishments. The breakfast items went beyond our expectations - bakery items varied daily in terms of choices, but not in quality. Other breakfast items followed traditional European breakfasts, but, in my experience exceeded amounts and varied options. As stated earlier, the breakfast presentation and the family’s gift of a quality breakfast and modern lodging speaks well for family.
