I was surprised to find out that the reception closes at midnight, though it's not a problem per se if one gets organised in advance.

I truly enjoyed my stay. The place has a lot of 'personality' for the way it's designed and furnished. The position is great and even if in the evening the restaurant gets crowded no noise is heard upstairs in the room. Great breakfast, even for vegetarians/vegans and the staff was always warm and eager to bring an espresso or provide some oat milk.

We did a long trip from Istanbul to Edinburgh on trains and stayed in maybe 15 different hotels/guesthouses. Gasthof Lend-Platzl was easily our favourite. The room was such a beautifully decorated room, the staff were incredibly friendly, and the breakfast (we chose the vegetarian option) was AMAZING. Fresh bread, homemade dips/sauces, delicious cheese.

Hotel restaurant closes after breakfast Sunday. Even the reception was closed for the rest of the day. Small family owned hotel. You’re on your own Sunday with only an emergency number to call.

Buffet breakfast on Sunday morning was very nice. It’s hard to find things open on Sunday, but the hotel opened the restaurant just for breakfast. We had a family dinner at the hotel restaurant and the food was very good.

Amazing hotel, staff, location, breakfast, everything. Best hotel we stayed at during our trip to Austria. Very comfortable rooms, very nice beds, and extremely quiet, so you’d never know there was a restaurant downstairs. Would definitely stay here if we come to Graz again.

Breakfast was quite good (although a little bit puzzling - not easy to understand the options). Very near the historical city center. It has an agreement with a public parking nearby (10 €/day).

They don’t offer laundry service, but that’s not too big of a deal if you’re willing to walk down the street to a laundromat (about 5 minute walk).

Very nicely appointed small hotel. It’s directly above a restaurant run by the same family. The food is great, the staff friendly, and it has a nice roof top bar (or place to have dinner).

The location was amazing, situated above an absolutely lovely restaurant with a terrace. The room was adorable and the bathroom set up was so cool. Lots of nice touches all around.

The arrival was slightly confusing as the apartment is in a separate building altogether on a way one street. But the staff was friendly and helped me find the way.

I liked the way how the rooms were designed. It felt very special. The staff was accommodating and helped me stay another night - different room, but same floor. Also, they helped me contact a friend. Overall, I really felt like a guest!

To be honest, it was all very good. The only thing i didn't like were the strong air fresheners which kept making me sneeze - i had to place them outside the window.

The warmth of the welcome here has to be experienced to be believed. The staff at Gasthof Lend-Platzl might be the friendliest and most helpful hosts ever. I was so touched by the effort the staff made to provide vegan food. They even gave me my own vegan buffet at breakfast. The hotel is exceptionally clean and cosy, and just a 5-10 minute walk from the city centre. I'm sure we'll be visiting Graz again and when we do i'll book in here.

It was a last minute booking so the price was a bit higher, although the room made it worth it.

The room was beautiful and spacious, clean, with everything needed. Breakfast was very tasty. Personal was very nice and polite.

We liked everythingm i was worried about the parking but we found parking spot in front of the hotel.

Everything is comfortable and staff think of the smallest detail. The bed is amazing! We will definately come back. Restaurant at the site is great benefit.

Adorable quaint historic Inn that has been beautifully furnished and decorated. Every corner is an interior designers dream! Great location, we walked everywhere. Restaurant had the BEST Weiner Schnetzel with pumpkin seeds. Lovely lovely!

No staff available on holiday to great guests - no response (once answering machine) to listed number. Very fortunately I had company upon arrival as another guest couple could not get in. Other guest came by and showed us the location of the “holiday” entry door. And the kind guest carried my suitcase up two flights of stairs as the elevator is not operational on holidays.

Very nice hotel with absolutely fantastic breakfast with home made juices and jams. Nicely quiet location.
