It has a popular bar downstairs so gets noisy especially weekends. Pillows are atrocious, so bring your own.

The location in Salzburg was fantastic, and the staff was very helpful at checkout and check-in. The room was spacious and neat. We liked how the floor landing provided a range of pillows for guests to use to optimise their comfort of sleep.

Easy accommodation for a family stay rooms in seperate levels but ok for older children. Convenient location for sightseeing and could walk to the train station.

Beds could be comfier and the pillows were too floppy. Firmer pillows and divan beds would take this to the next level. We were still happy with our stay though.

Beds are too soft. The church bell started to ring from 5:30 morning every 15 minutes.

It was a charming old fashioned hotel, but we preferred a bigger tv in the room. The night activities are limited, so update those electronic devices could be a must.

The church next to the hotel had bells ringing numerous times a day including early in the morning. We were woken up at least 3 times before about 6am until our normal alarm went off (9am). Not really eager to wake up that early while on holiday. Understandable that this is out of the hotels control but we were not made aware of this prior and would have definitely picked a location further from the old town.

The location of the hotel is ideal! Right in the old town, a short walk from all the sightseeing! The room was very large, almost like an apartment. Our room was overlooking the main street and it was totally silent! We did not choose the option for breakfast, we found it kind of pricey. We saw the breakfast room, and the buffet was poor. The good thing is that you could help yourself to free coffees and teas the whole day!

The carpets are dusty as mentioned by other travelers, but I had slippers so it didn’t bother me. The ventilation in the bathroom is very loud.

Perfect location in the centre of Salzburg. The room is pretty big, with a living room and a bedroom separated which is not very common in Europe.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. It is a lovely old building that retains much character as well as providing well equipped modern rooms. There is a good selection of coffee and teas on the ground floor. My room was at the front, with unlocked windows, so provided lovely views across Linzer Grasse Fast, free WiFi with simple authentication. Friendly service in the attached, reasonably priced bar.

Ventilation system is super load. It continues to work when you switch off the lights. It will be much more convenient if you add hooks in the bathroom for the towels.

The room was big and comfortable. The location of the hotel is convenient. There are a few groceries and tiny restaurants near the hotel.
