Breakfast was relatively basic cold fare, with no warm rolls, bacon, or eggs. There were no communal lounge facilities nor in-room utensils available to enjoy a wine or small platter at the end of the day.

Location was very good, price point was fair, and the hotel itself was rustic but nice. Service was good, and parking was available nearby.

Toilet lid was loose/not properly mounted, cleanliness could be better (there was hair from someone next to the bathroom sink upon check in). WiFi signal not amazing, but working.

Great location and very close to the city center and train station. Good breakfast with choices (bread, croissant, cheese/meat, warm egg, milk, yoghurt, cereal, fruit, orange juice, coffee, tea). Here I don't understand the bad reviews. Friendly staff. Bed was ok. Hand sanitizer on every floor. Shampoo/shower gel mix and hand soap are available in the bathroom, also towels.

There was no opportunity to drop off luggage during the hours that check-in/check-out was not manned. So I had to walk with my luggage through the city until 15.00 hours.

Location is fine, in the city centre, near the train station, bus to the airport stops in front. Shower was fine but a bit cramped. No airco, so during hot days it can be quite hot in the room. There was a fan available. Breakfast was fine.

The location of the hotel was very convenient, less than 10 minutes walk from the train station and less than 10 minutes walk into town. Check in was very easy even though there was no one at reception. Breakfast was good, and the staff were friendly.

It was very dated and some bits in need of repair. Our room only had one out of five if the bulbs working in the main light. There was no air con and as it was very hot we had to leave all the windows open all night. Unfortunately the location it is in means it’s very noisy all night with traffic, trams and church bells! Reception is noon between certain hours which usually a bit restrictive.

We had a large family room, one of the circular ones on the corner of the building, so it was very large and had a table plus a dressing table which was helpful. The location was good - close to the train station and not far from the old town. The breakfast seemed very basic at first glance but was actually very nice and filling. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful.

Room needs more lamps. The old lock on door is still in place and kept sticking in door stopping us from leaving one time and worrying us about getting back in. We wanted to check in earlier but our message not read so more flexibility here would have been great.

Lack of restaurant on site and no cafe or bar. Paper cups provided in the en suite bathroom were a poor substitute for a more solid form of container. The lack of any reception staff for most of the day meant it was impossible to get any advice.

Breakfast was a bit basic & coffee machine was broken. Also room was noisy from people outside (we stayed in summer -was v hot do had to sleep with windows open. But those factors bit out of hotel's control.

I was extremely surprised by their time management. If you read that check-in is at 3:00pm, it doesn't mean you will be in your room at 3:00pm. At 3:00pm, the hotel doors open and the entire crowd that was waiting for the opening gets in line to check in. There were 13 people in my line :) I understand that due to time management they save on staff and it affects the price of the hotel, but to feel like a herd is not very pleasant. The windows of my room were located on a busy roadway and it was impossible to sleep with the open window.

The hotel serves excellent breakfasts. And it is the only hotel that serves POACHED eggs!!!

5 minutes walk from Hbf or one stop on tram. Friendly welcome, easy check in. Handy for shopping areas and old town. Clean, quiet room; no aircon but not too hot. Good Wi-Fi
