Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

This hotel was right in the center of town. There were so many shops and restaurants nearby. The room was very clean and had everything that I needed. The staff was very helpful and polite. I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel.

The polite and gentle staff welcomed us at the reception. They surprised us with a room upgrade and made our stay special. The room was spacious, stylish, and modern, with common areas representing the rich history of over 600 years. The beds were extremely comfy and big. The bathroom was spacious. We also had a big closet with a locker that made us feel like a home. The location is just perfect, in the old town of Innsbruck next to the river, surrounded by Wine bars and delicious restaurants. We had the best time in Innsbruck because of this place and we sure would recommend it to anyone visiting. :)

Pretty hotel decorated in old Austrian style. Lots of history. Excellent location right in historical center. Comfortable bed and room. Quiet at night. Nice restaurant downstairs. Friendly staff.

A little difficult to find in the car as it is in a pedestrian area.
It was a beautiful hotel , well located offering a fantastic breakfast. The check in was polite and quick and the bar had a good atmosphere (unusually for a hotel bar) for after dinner drinks.

The lighting in the building and in the room is inappropriatly dim. It was hardly possible to find a spot to read a book or text, i.e. checking out one's excursion maps. Had to go outside the building.
Location, room and breakfast were just fine. No need to improve further. The young lady - from the Philippines, we guess - that did the housekeeping was perfect and friendly. The reception staff extremely helpful. Waiters and waitresses in the restaurant were optimal professional.

We couldn't enjoy fully the amazing view from the window due to the desk placed right under it.
Location, pet friendly. Even if the hotel is clearly a historical building the room was modern with full conforts.

Transparent glass door to toilet is really unbelievable. And they were fully transparent. And we were told it is the same in all of the rooms.
The location of the hotel is great. Despite having the room over the main pedestrian street, it was quiet. The bed was very good.

When we arrived the room we were allocated had a strange and unpleasant smell. It may have been due to a previous resident having smoked in the room - so was not the fault of the hotel. The reception staff are amazing and were able to find us a lovely room that was fresh, clean and fragrant! No fuss made at all and not a problem to move us. The breakfast staff are wonderful and I ate the best scrambled eggs I have ever tasted! I recommend them wholeheartedly. A lovely stay.

Carpark is an underground public carpark and maybe a 5/10 min walk away but you do get discounted rates. I personally found this a nightmare with cases in tow.
Hotel was very quirky and had a historical feel. Room wasn't huge and bath/shower was a glass corner area of the room. Our view wasn't good.. just a brick building.. We did have an evening meal but a bit pricy but you are based smack bang in the middle of the town which was a beautiful perfect location. All the staff lovely and helpful. It is based in the perfect place for the town.

The only problem we had was that our room had a hard time cooling down at night, but the staff were great to help us with that.
This property is in the perfect location for the old town and is an absolutely beautiful building! Only a 15 minute easy walk from the train station. Our room overlooked the old town street and the staff were so friendly and accommodating! It would be hard to find a better place to stay in old town Innsbruck! We would definitely stay at this hotel, if and when we come back to Innsbruck!  only a 15 minute easy walk from the train station.

The weather - but that was hardly the hotel's fault. OK, I', not being serious; we had no complaints.
The rooms were excellent - well furnished and larger than typical hotel rooms. Staff were very helpful at all times. Breakfast was lovely.

Absolutely nothing
The breakfast was perfect and the staff lovely and very helpful. I have visited Innsbruck before and always wanted to try this hotel. Everything lived up to expectations I was so happy. Location perfect.

All was fine.
It is a beautiful old hotel steeped in history. However the room was luxurious and so comfortable. The breakfast buffet was awesome, personally cooked food can be prepared for you mixed with everything you could want from smoked salmon, local cheese and breads to gorgeous pastries. A wonderful experience.
