Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The rooms need some refreshing
Nice hotel in the heart of the city, near to everything. Old building but very clean , calm and comfortable. Excellent breakfast and service. We had a dinner at the restaurant and the food was delicious

The mattress is pretty hard and the pillows are very soft.
Centrally located with nice breakfast and very helpful staff, also a lot of restaurants nearby

The pillows were not good..hence why I did not give 5 stars for comfort. I've seen other reviews and the poor quality of pillows keep cropping up.

Coffee machine in the room.its more flexible if its a kettle.

We didn’t have the breakfast at the hotel as the price seemed very high at €25 per person. However, found excellent breakfasts nearby for half the price.
Great location, with good restaurant attached. Only 2 minutes from metro station.

Pillows terrible. Few hooks to hang wet coat outside garden obe. Maids were very good
Breakfast was always excellent. Ladies who served us always had beautiful smiles. Help at front desk always talked to us to be sure we were OK. Do not know gentleman's name....Egyptian....Great help should highly recommend

Lack of a bar in the hotel, and immediate area was inconvenient.
The hotel is clean and comfortable, Ideally located for exploring on foot and with an Underground connection only minutes away.

Only fault I had were the beds...mattress not the most comfortable and the pillows could definitely be upgraded. Had a room beside the lift which was very noisy but requested a different room which I got and it was much quieter.
I really loved the location and the Italian is so convenient. Breakfast was amazing.

The hotel really could of done with its own hotel bar to be able to relax in at times

Location of hotel is perfect for seeing Vienna, especially with underground 100m away. Breakfasts were excellent selection and staff were brilliant. Only issue with room was the pillows and this was rectified with one call toreception.

The small lobby / foyer which offered only a limited communal space. Customers used this to wait for taxis etc in the main. A larger social space would be an advantage. However it was perfect for an afternoon tea and for interacting with small numbers of other guests.
Fabulous location; city centre within walking distance to all major attractions and shops / restaurants. The room was basic but extremely clean and well serviced. One room was smaller than expected. The breakfast offered a variation on a cooked breakfast and a continental breakfast. Individual dishes were catered for if asked. The service was exceptional and efficient delivered by very friendly and accommodating staff.

The only thing that would make it better is another pillow on bed - the pillows were quite flat.
The property is well located in historic Vienna, a short walk to most. The staff were very helpful and pleasant to deal with. The room was quiet and warm. The restaurant food was great.

Rooms were clean but old fashioned. Only one pillow per person.
Connenient location in the Inner City. Old world atmosphere with interesting historic photos of a bygone era. Nice coffee shops close by.
