Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

FranceSadly it wasn't possible to check in 1 hour earlier, the receptionist didn't dare check at all if the room would be already ready. She just said no. Baggage storage was possible though.
Good breakfast without surprise (standard IBIS / IBIS Styles). Nice room and bathroom. Good matress as always at IBIS

RomaniaI think that the room was too small and the shower was included in the room and I think that this aspect should be mentioned before.
I liked that the staff were friendly and the location was very close to the Prater.

AustriaThat the carpeted floors on the hallway were not always clean. For a person with allergy, it was a little bit unsafe. And the reception is where the bar is, I don't know if the staff are fine with that, being the receptionist and the bartender at the same time.
The breakfast is delicious! It was worth the money. The hotel staffs even gave us exception to check in early due to some circumstances. The room is smaller than expected but if you are always out and will just sleep, then it is really practical! The room is also modern, perfect for youngsters. The bathroom doesn't have a rain shower but is high and spacious enough to fit my 6'5 husband. The aircon is to die for! Perfect for the hot weather! We were both satisfied.

United KingdomWe went to Vienna mainly to visit the Prater Funfair. The location for this was excellent-only 10 minutes walk. It was close to the train station with excellent connections to the city centre, airport etc. The room was really nice, comfortable and clean. The breakfast was simply amazing!! Plentiful and varied. As soon as I'd finished, I was looking forward to having breakfast again the next day! Overall an excellent stay.

GreeceVery mild stuff, I'm very satisfied. But: When I checked in, my room wasn't cleaned yet and I had to wait for one hour, I didn't mind though because I stayed at the bar, had some water and chilled with my computer. And, on their defense, the check in was after 15:00 and I arrived at 13:00. The room I stayed in had an attic design, which meant small part of the walls were vertical and sometimes I had to crouch down not to bang my head. Also, the luggage area had no lockers, so while I felt comfortable enough leaving my stuff there, I didn't always felt comfortable leaving my valuables there. Vienna however seems to be a city where stealing is unheard of, but still.. Also, not my complain, but the shower door was clear glass, making the room suitable only for solo travellers and couples. I was living alone so I didn't mind, but I understand that it could be uncomfortable for other people. Overall, I'm very satisfied, would recommend, especially for solo travellers!
All of the staff was super helpful and super friendly! The hotel has a very minimal but modern and fancy decor, and the 12€/day for breakfast were totally worth it, as the buffet was large and there were a lot of vegetarian options. The room was squeaky clean, and although small, it was comfortable enough for one person. Lots of outlets, two near the bed, and there was a desk with two more outlets in the front. The air conditioner worked great, and the bed was very comfortable. The location is perfect, it's very near the station Praterstern, which has connections to the S-Bahn, multiple U-Bahn lines, and the CAT. Also very near the tram station and the metro station Nestoyplatz. The hotel also has a luggage area where you can leave your baggage before/after check in/check out, and pick it up later, free of charge. Honestly, the facilities were easily 4-star, it exceeded my expectations.
