The towels were quite small and the shower water leaked into the room a little, but only a dribble. Not much storage for clothes aside from the hangers. More coffee for breakfast would have been nice.

The beds were amazing - haven't slept that well in a hotel for a long time. The room (garden view) was very quiet and visually stunning. We enjoyed the complimentary bottles of wine and water and the 'normal' clothes hangers were much appreciated. The staff were wonderful and the breakfast was great. We also enjoyed the cocktails in the Barfly Bar and the music room.

The air conditioning in the room was not able to lower the temperature to our comfort.

Hotel Josefine pampered us in unexpected ways. It's refined, comfortable, and situated in a great location. The breakfast was excellent. Everything is stylish and done in good taste. The staff bent over backwards to meet our needs. In general, they pay attention to the smallest detail to make guests' stay as enjoyable as possible: from the on-the-house bottle of wine and water waiting for you on the day of our arrival, to the great music played quietly everywhere in the building, to the comfortable beds and great bathroom, everything contributed to our wonderful experience in Vienna and in this hotel. Special thanks to the staff. They are absolutely amazing!

The rooms had everything you needed, but they were a bit small, but in historical buildings, I guess, this is not possible to change. Else everything was really perfect.

The location was absolutely great. The people serving at breakfast were absolutely great and always made our day (6 girls) start with a smile. They were fast, friendly and very service minded and some of our favourite time there, was actually at the breakfast table - thank you :-)

The general facilities were very clean. The cleaning staff did a good job in our room, but didn't clean the floor every day. There was almost no place to store clothing, but we improvised by using the top of the (rather small) shelf box. The shower and the toilet shared one sliding door, which was strange, but we got used to it.

The breakfast was outstanding - truly excellent. The hotel and room's design were lovely. The staff was friendly and did their best to be helpful. The bed was comfortable, and the shower worked well, though we had to lower the water pressure so that the water wouldn't leak out under to t=door to the room. The location was great - very close to public transportation, and walking distance to the old city center.

Beautiful, clean, well designed rooms & lounges, etc. Honesty bar was handy. Staff were super helpful and friendly - really lifted the experience. Excellent neighbourhood restaurants within easy walking distance & very close to the underground (subway).

What's not to like? The location, the decorations,the staff, everything was beyond my expectations. It was the perfect ending to our 10-day tour in Austria, and this is our first time here. The duplex to bedroom unit was beautiful and mesmerizing to the point where we thought that maybe we should extend just to enjoy the hotel. The terrace is beautiful looking over Vienna. Would definitely recommend this to anyone coming to Vienna.

The logistics regarding breakfast in the (cosy) bar downstairs are not good. Its too slow and inconvenient. Also, the coffee machine in the room sucks. But with all the other great stuff, you don't really mind.

Great atmosphere, lots of space in suite, nice people, quiet, location, good airco, good beds: we loved it. Some minor hickups (lift, shower) where fixed immediately. Would stay there absolutely again.

I loved being transported back to the music and decor of the 1920’s. Such great ambiance! We actually spent time at the hotel bar Barfly’s. The drinks are fantastic. Get the breakfast-by far the best breakfast- they are very generous. The staff’s customer service was excellent. So helpful and positive!! They also had plenty of suggestions of what to do and eat. They also had a room full of records and you can play what you want from the huge collection. If we come back to Vienna we will definitely stay again.

Absolutely loved this hotel! ALL the staff are superb. The style and quality is amazing. The rooms are very well designed and beautiful. Also spotlessly clean. The bottle of wine provided on arrival is a great touch. Breakfast was wonderful. Superbly organised and service was impeccable. The bar is very cool, the atmosphere and drinks very high quality.

The room - while being beautiful - could still be a bit more practical. A vanity mirror with lights next to the sink would be very helpful, it was next to impossible to find a good spot in the room to do our makeup. It could also have been swept under the bed, it was a little dusty and a previous guest's nail polish was underneath the bed.

From the moment you walk into the Hotel Josefine it's like you're being transported to a different era. The music, the impressive staircase are giving the 20s vibe. The staff was very attentive and helpful from the first moment - carrying our suitcases up the stairs and into the room. Also the room was very pretty and quiet. Everything was very tasteful and we felt comfortable. The hotel is also close to subway stops and even walking distance to the Westbahnhof.

The bathroom arrangements with a curtain and a single slide door that covered either the shower or the WC was a little curious and I would have preferred a little more privacy. Coffee making facilities would have been nice but certainly not a dealbreaker!

The location was great, the breakfast was fresh and attentive. The content was not particularly for my liking but the volume of food was plentiful and I have no complaints here. The staff were very friendly and helpful and worked hard. The complimentary bottle of wine was really appreciated.

This hotel was nothing but perfect! Everything is so beautiful, the design of the place is really well thought-out, it's very cohesive and aesthetic. The room was beautifully decorated, the bed was beyond comfortable, so much so that I've taken pictures of all the tags and will be ordering my own set of pillows and duvets. The staff was implacable. I forgot an item in the room and realized after I left the country. They were very responsive and helped with shipping the item back to me. The breakfast food was very high quality and so, so delicious. All in all, an amazing stay and my only regret is the fact that I was there only two nights.

Having to leave after only 1 night!

Great location, just off the main shopping street which lead to the museum quarter so perfect for wandering about. Loved the Art-Deco style, the rooms were decorated beautifully. Complimentary wine in the room was an unexpected treat. Bed really comfy. Didn’t have breakfast at the hotel but the menu did look great so will try if we visit again.
