The room seemed a bit to auster but on the other hand there is no unneeded stuff in the room.

Hotel staff are super-friendly and helpful! They gave us a feeling of visiting a friends’ house. Breakfast is great: there are options to choose from as well as glass of Prosecco to start the day better. Location is perfect: walking distance from the city center, metro station is even closer.

The bar and bar snacks were quite limited. It would have been nice if the hotel had a restaurant for evening meals. Not possible to reserve a parking space, although we were able to park nearby in a multi-story car park, which wasn't expensive.

The breakfast was the highlight for us. Absolutely outstanding. Staff were lovely. Always welcomed us when we came back to the hotel. It was like "coming home". Perfect location for exploring the city. We loved it so much that we changed our plans to allow us to stay again on our return journey to Portugal. Can't wait to return.

from the moment I arrived I knew this was going be a fantastic stay... the staff are all brilliant from checkin to breakfast to the bar... the breakfast was perfection with something for everyone and the option to sit in or outside.. never rushed and friendly staff that were not only incredibly professional but always took the time to chat and feel welcome. I travelled alone but yet never "felt alone"... the room was street facing and incredibly spacious The location of the hotel is walking distance to everything.. eg around the corner from Parliament and the ring... I walked EVERYWHERE... loved coming home at the end of a big day out and having a wine on my return.

Nothing much comes to mind. The staff were excellent and friendly and our lack of understanding of the local language was not an issue in the hotel.

The location was fine and within walking distance of Inner Stadt and some great museums and art galleries and good public transport. Given it was our first visit to Vienna we were unsure where to stay but the hotel proved to be a good location. We would stay there again if we get to Vienna. the decor layout and rooms in the hotel were fine but the highlight was the staff, excellent.

In October we stay for 7 in Josefshof hotel. The stuff was very helpful and attractive, breakfast was nice. Waitress Natalie who spoke different languages help us to be oriented and we are very thankful to her advices and services. We will recommend this hotel to our friends.

The bedding was comfortable, and though decor is of an older style, everything was very clean. The breakfast was great and in a lovely area of the hotel.

No soundproofing - I could hear very well what was happening in the corridor, people shutting their doors etc.

The hotel is nicely situated on a quiet street however it is still close to the Old Town, trams and U-bahn are running nearby too. The room was rather fine although pretty small - fine for solo travellers, though. I also appreciate black out curtains in the windows.

We had a fantastic stay at the hotel. Staff were warm and welcoming, available to answer questions and give recommendations. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, nicely decorated with tea and coffee making facilities, we were upgraded to a junior suite due to a big birthday and had beautiful views of the city as well as an outdoor seating area which we were able to enjoy due to the mild weather. The hotel is in a great location next to the museum quarter near public transport links and great bistro style restaurants. We would recommend this hotel and look forward to returning to see some more of this beautiful city
