Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

MalaysiaRoom cleaning could have been done earlier. One time I came back to the room at nearly 4pm and it wasn’t cleaned yet.
Location was good with restaurants, cafes, supermarkets in close proximity. Getting around Vienna was easy with the tram as the no 2 line stop is only 100m from the hotel. The metro station is a little further away. The room is fairly spacious and very comfortable. Loved the wall shelves, they created more space. Great restaurant recommendation by the hotel.

United KingdomPerhaps the bathroom needed a little TLC.
Everything. Staff were great, room was great, breakfast was great. Location was just behind Parliament and the Rathaus in a side street which was very quiet. A lovely stroll through the park with a pretty rose garden into the city. There is a tram at the end of the road if you prefer.

SwitzerlandThe bathroom has very little space to put your toiletries and whoever designed the tab didn’t have the user in mind.
Overall it was a very pleasant stay. The room we booked was big enough for the 3 of us. We didn’t book breakfast, so I can’t make a statement about it. But there is a little local market just at the next cross road that is fantastic and highly to recommend.

CanadaDear Josef, After a day on my feet it’s a relief to step into your cozy bar. The red velvet sofa and mini table lamps set the mood. White ceiling medallions project light from a circle of crystal glass. One would think the watering hole was expecting someone as glamorous as the surrounding but alas it’s only me. The snacks are limited at this hour. Pizza aromas waft throughout the lobby and I’ll take it. Aperol Spritz to help me toast the Hapsburg dynasty, the arts and musicians that led the secession- Austrias grand movement of change. They welcomed the modern world- as modern as it was for the time period. Today aristocratic ladies do not worry about their long gowns dragging in the street, street cleaning the debris of horse drawn carriages and soot. In this decade, we step over tram lines, cracked concrete sidewalks and uneven cobblestones of the previous generations. It’s a walkable neighborhood- but watch for the trams. Vienna is an elegant city with clean streets. The electric trams move at a quick pace, cyclists pedal with purpose. Only the grassy lawns are populated with leisurely citizens. It’s a modern day luncheon of the boating party with young lovers entwined, exchanging conversation and tender kisses. The sculptured bushes offer a degree of privacy. No designer mazes to confuse me. Google Maps is my escort as I trek from the Museum quarter back to my hotel but it’s an easy route once I learned the way. No Royal chaperon, or footman to carry me home. In Europe one should expect small hotel rooms and for a solo traveler my room was a perfect fit. Clean-comfortable and as most hotels post Covid- environmentally conscious. You can opt to have your room cleaned daily or simply hang the card on your door to let the chamber maid know your parents brought you up to clean your own room.

IrelandBeautiful Hotel. There was an issue with our room which we reported to reception and all was sorted quickly and efficently. Loved the hotel staff, especially Tomas, who was so friendly and helpful. The location was great, few minutes walk from Tram 2, one tram stop (or 15 minute walk) to underground station. Lots of nice cafe/bars and a shop really close to Hotel. Breakfast was very nice, lots of choice and went on from 7:00 -12:00 which is brilliant! Looking forward to staying there again.

United KingdomUnless we missed it, a larger room for relaxing with a drink at the end of the day. There were a few seats in the little bar area and another room with maybe half a dozen comfy chairs but that was it - not enough for a hotel of this size
Location was great as the hotel is in a quiet side street but only a few minutes from a tram stop. There are a couple of restaurants very close by too. The view from our room was of other parts of the hotel but we'd asked for a quiet room so that's understandable. Breakfast was terrific with the usual assortment of cereals, breads, cheeses, hams and some hot stuff. They even had bubbly you could help yourself to! Like many hotels are now doing, you get a "bonus" if you elect not to have your room cleaned on a particular day which is a free glass of wine, a small beer or a soft drink. Room was a good size with a double-length shower with a movable shower head, as well as a fixed overhead one. There was a coffee machine in the room and a small fridge too so we were able to store a small glass of milk for coffee as we're not keen on the long-life stuff. Staff were friendly, especially Tomas who couldn't have been more helpful when we arrived, (and during our stay) pointing out on a map where sights of interest were, telling us about the "room-cleaning bonus", getting milk for us etc.
